Little girl
"We have to give her up," a woman said. A little girl laid on the ground in front of her. Her small chest slowly moving up and down, blood soaked through her shirt.
"But...," the man said, his eyes watering.
The sound of boom shook the ground. the couple looked at each other fear marked on their faces. The bush shook next to them. A tall boy came out from behind the bush. He had brown hair and his eyes were as blue as the sky. He was breathing hard
"They're." he stopped to catch his breath. "They're coming we have to hurry." the fear in his face scared the couple. The woman looked down at the small girl. Then she made up her mind
"Take her to the teleporter"
The man looked at her. "But..."
"No she has to go."
The boy looked at his mother and father, picked up his little sister and carried her off into the woods towards the teleporter.
The mother fell to her knees fearing she would never see her daughter again. And if she did... she shoved the thought out of her head. Her daughter could not come back; she would not. The tears streamed down her face.
Her husband put his hand on her shoulder. "She will be safe." The woman stood up and walked through the bushes.
The boy ran through the bushes carrying his sister in his arms. He always was envious of his sister she got everything. The tears now fell on her cheeks. He ran and ran to the teleporter. It was a small building made of marble. Vines were growing up the sides. It was about the size of a telephone booth. In the very center there was a well. He looked down into the black pit that looked bottomless. He kissed the top of his sister's head. Then dropped her. He saw her fall then disappear into the blackness.
He didn't bother to wipe the tears from his eyes. He turned around and opened the door. He walked out into the ash filled air. The bushes shook violently back and forth. Out stepped the biggest fire warrior he had ever seen. The warrior chuckled then swung is fire staff. the boy jumped and started running through the bushes.
The branches scraped his legs and face. but he didn't care. The warrior was pushing through the trees. The boy kept running his steps began to slow he couldn't run forever. He looked around to see if the warrior was behind him. that's when he tripped on a root. He turned to look at the staff pointed at his neck. then it all went black.
