<->(written March of 23) Lando Norris and Oscar Piasti, and some Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo. No smut, this is me, projecting into a fake scenario- Warnings-> little/age regression (non-sexual) {based, slightly, on me the other day} unspecified relationship statuses, presumed platonic.

Oscar had called Daniel. He'd had the condensed run down of what was happening with Lando right now.

It had started at the very end of the practice session when Lando had gotten the hiccups.

It was only him and Lando at the time. Well... kind of. They were both in Lando's driver room but they had the door open so passers by could feasibly see them but it was essentially just them.

So, Lando had gotten the hiccups. After taking a particularly long sip of water, bordering on chugging, he'd hiccuped.

It was pretty expected given what he'd just done but the look on his face said that he hadn't expected it.

No. The look on his face said 'upset toddler' (not in an offensive way).

Oscar had furrowed his brows at the others reaction but didn't think much of it until another hiccup came and Lando made a frustrated little groan-hum thing.

Oscar looked fully at Lando after that, questioning him without verbally asking.

Lando hiccuped again, making a more high pitched noise of frustration, clearly getting more upset with each hiccup.

"What's wrong?" Oscar asks noticing Lando wasn't going to return his gaze. Lando's eyes were too busy burning holes through the floor.

"Doan' like hiccups." Lando says in a smaller, more high pitched, voice than his normal one.

Oscar wasn't sure how to respond to that. Not to the statement, but to the change in Lando's demeanor.

He'd sat there, silent, trying to connect dots in his head until Lando had spoken again.

"Wanna talk Danny." He'd said, starting to pick at the sleeve of his hoodie.

"Oh- okay." Oscar said, not sure why Lando couldn't call him himself.

Lando looked up at him after a few seconds, somehow looking much younger than he usually did; it was probably the way he held his shoulders shrunken into himself more.

Lando wasn't saying anything, just staring at him with expecting eyes.

Oscar put two and two together and figured Lando wanted him to call Daniel for him.

So he did, he called Daniel through his phone, getting a confused pick up.

Once Oscar had said that it was Lando who wanted to talk to him, he could feel the realization through the phone.

He'd handed the phone over to Lando, who seemed to perk up a bit at the sound of Daniel's voice.

He'd gone into a rant about hiccups and, quote, 'stupid water', before handing the phone back to Oscar, saying "he wants to talk to you" with a less frustrated look in his eyes.

Oscar was confused as to why Daniel wanted to talk to him specifically, but took the phone anyways.

Daniel had quickly told him why, and explained why Lando was acting the way he was right now.

He'd explained that sometimes Lando slipped into a 'little headspace', causing him to act and think like a child. He'd said it happened more often when Lando was more stressed, or just feeling any emotion intensely (this is how it is for me)
