"Lena, we have to go, now!" Kaz says pulling her away. She stares at her house. "I found the girl." Someone says behind them. They both gasp in shock and turn around. Kaz grabs her hand, while he starts walking backwards. "We just want the girl. I don't want to hurt you kid." The stranger says. "You can't have her." Kaz says, gently squeezing her hand.
The man puts his hands together and a fire starts growing. Their eyes widen and they turn around, before running away from him. "Get back here." He yells. They run into the woods, rushing by trees, before Lena gets tackled. She groans in pain. "Lena!" She felt a sharp pain on the back of her head, before she fell to the ground.
"No!" Kaz yells running to her. The man punches him, making him fall to the ground. "Is this her?" A man asks, while kneeling next to her. She looks up and gasps, "Dad?" She asks quietly. She hears Kaz groan in pain next to her. She turns her head to see that he has a bloody nose. "Kaz?" "I'm okay, Lena." She tries to sit up, but the pain in her head made her lay back down.
She turns over and starts crawling to Kaz. She grabs his hand. "Everything's going to be okay, I promise." She says softly. "What?" He asks her. "I love you, Kaz." She tells him, before someone grabs her, and starts pulling her away from him. "No. No! No! Lena! Akilina!" Kaz yells trying to stand up. She tries to get out of his grasp, when she feels something hit her head again.
