Chapter 27: Reactions

Third-Person POV:

Y/N's eyes get hit with a flash of sunlight, making them groan. "Morning, love" They hear, realizing that they're still on top of her. "Nooo, don't move your comfy," Scarlett says while pulling on Y/N's shirt. "Love.. We're going to eat shit if you continu-" They didn't get to finish and they felt their back hit the floor. Meanwhile Scarlett, and what sounds, like Lizzie laughs. "Sorry" Scarlett continues laughing but still helps Y/N up. The fall gave Y/N an idea. The idea was to throw her above their shoulder but changes to a tickle fight. "Ohhh prepare yourself Johannson." "RUN SCARJO" they hear Lizzie. Scarlett runs for it, I chase her while the others walk in on this kid act. "NOOO put me down y/n/n" The others listen to Scarlett's shout followed by dying laughter. "I TOLD YOU AND I ENDED UP ON THE FLOOR" "I'M GOING TO PEE, LOVVEEE" In the kitchen, Robbie's making breakfast for most of them, Lizzie and Hunter. Nicole is still asleep, well not really now. "IT'S TOO EARLY FOR THIS" Nicole throws a pillow from the couch. Y/N felt Scarlett on the sectional couch, giving Scarlett time to catch her breath. But Nicole isn't in the safe zone. "Your turn then." Y/N's face forms an evil smirk while trying to catch up with Nicole. "AHH SHIT." Nicole yells while booking it. (a/n: This is what I think how Scarlett's living room would look like. A bit wider though.) 

"Ok I'm back" Scarlett rejoins the other in the kitchen. "Did you actually peed?" Nicole asked, finishing her second coffee. (a/n: I love this kitchen.)

 "Well, the aftermath of birthing two bigass fucking heads is that you're left with peeing yourself either after every sneeze, cough, or laugh." She replies, getting her breakfast that Y/N made. "Thanks love," Scarlett says, in the middle of everyone's laughter. "So what are the plans for today?" Y/N asks, grabbing their orange juice. "Well my mom is dying to meet you, plus we need to get Elena before she spoils the shit out of them" Hunter comments, making Y/N slightly split the juice out of their mouth. While Y/N chokes, they try to talk between coughs. "What?...TOday?... I don't have clothes here and only have cargo pants and green shirts." They recovered. "You can borrow some of my clothes. Don't worry too much, just get her some flowers too though" Hunter comfort them, laughing.

Normal POV:

After breakfast, I followed Hunter to see what I can wear to meet their mom, Melanie. "Good thing, I keep clothes here." He says while opening a drawer. "Below this drawer is pants, socks, and underwear. The shoes are in my mini closet, don't tell Scarlett about that." He added, guiding me. "Lips are sealed, thank you, Hunter." "Alright, I'll leave you to it." Ayoo, Hunter has some good shit. Classic and Streetstyle too. The shoes though, sheeesh, 9 and a half too. Thank god he's the same height as me. Being 6'3 is a blessing and a curse, my poor forehead gets collide with everything from the door frame to tree branches. After deciding on what to wear, I go to shower in Nicole's bathroom. "HeY dumbass, can I borrow your shower again?" I say while I knock and try to annoy her. My specialty. "God, why couldn't I get a normal bestie?" "There's no fun on normal," I replied as she opened the door. "Just go, you ass." Nicole rolls her eyes. I wasn't as sore as yesterday, might have been the flight. Since I didn't need help, my new routine was quicker today. Covering the mirrors, chair, and cold shower to relax the muscles and mind.

Scarlett, Hunter, Nicole, and I are going to Melanie's house, the twin's childhood home. Lizzie and Robbie are going to wait here for Elena and the kids. "HURRY UP Y/N' I hear Scar yell as I get on another shoe on. "I CAN'T GET THIS SHOE ON, I'M THE ONE DRIVING ANYWAYS" I yell back at the entrance. "Don't you yell at me, Rodriguez." Scary SplatNat comes out. "But you did it first." "AND?" I just shook my head as I guide them to the car. "SHOTGUN" "FUCK OFF" I hear Scarlett and Hunter argue. "CHILDREN, no one's going to be on the passenger." I break off, I hear Nicole with the "HA" "oH come on love, please." "NOPE, that's not going to work."

On the way to the twin's home, Scarlett and I linked hands as we listen to the playlist she made. "Fuck I'm so single, Fuck you guys. For real shit." I hear Nicole say. "Well if you download dating apps as I told you to-" "What about yours." Ah shit, I forgot about that. "I forgot about them plus I don't even use them. Not during or after." I defend myself. I only made 3 matches that I did consider but all only wanted sex or smoke out, so that was definitely a turn-off and a heavy no. "When you download then tell me so I can help out if you want." I close this conversation, as Scarlett says it to the right. I can see Melanie waiting outside with the kids. I pull in and as I park I see Elena trying to open the driver's door. I unlock the car and I immediately was tackled by mi mija. "MAMA...MY MAMA IS HOME." she yells, starting to cry. "I got you mija." I whispered. "I knew you return to me. LOOK SCAR ITS MAMA." She turns to Scar. God she's going to kill me with her cute voice. "Come on mama, you need to meet Rose, Melanie, and Cosmo." She drags me.

As I step out, I was greeted by Ms.Sloan carrying Cosmo. "Ma'am, let's get inside there might be paparazzi and we have the kids out." "Love, it's fine there's no paparazzi around the house. I avoid giving the house attention for them." I hear Scarlett as her hand slides on my back. "Sorry, habit." Melanie smiles at this detail. "Mom, this is Y/N Rodriguez. Y/N, mom." I go in for a handshake but was greeted by a hug. "I'm a hugger, Y/N. I hope you don't mind. Call me Melanie, not ma'am, I'm old but not that old." I chuckled. "I see where Scarlett gets the 'Ma'am' from. Nice to meet you, Melanie." "Mom, you're hugging too tight. Mom." Hunter says. "Sorry, mother instinct." She smiles, pulling out of the hug.
