Scarlett's POV

Joy and relief warms my heart as Y/N looks around the car, never stopping smiling. They deserve to be spoiled for once. "THANK YOU" Y/N says as they walk toward my way. "How can I repay you?" They questioned once we connected into each other's arms. "I have some ideas in mind." Teasing them as I discreetly kissed their neck. Moments like this, just remind me how life can be. Pain is temporary, most of the time, but it eventually gets better. Life is pure, and you only get one chance to experience it. "I can't believe this, thank you sooo much." I can hear Y/N's voice shiver. All emotions are coming in. Happy tears are comforting when it comes to Y/N. "One of your dreams is now reality, soo many to go. I can't wait for what the future holds for us. I love you, Rodriguez." I met with their eyes, connecting our forehead together. "This forehead thing is really Nat of you." They commented, chuckling. "ANNDD moment ruined." I tell them, earning some laughter from Charles. Y/N's face dropped, concerning both of us. "What? What's wrong?" Charles asked. Y/N's hands met their mouth, "Realizing that my insurance... Damn." Their auto insurance company is a motherfucker to deal with, and I know what they're about to say. "My insurance isn't going to cover this..." Before they could continue, I cut them off. "Y/N/N, don't worry about that. I got that covered too." I ensured them. "Babe, I can't let you do that." They looked over to my direction. "Too late to debate, it's already done." I said as I get a deep sigh from them.

"Here are the keys, now enjoy. Y/N, we have something else for you from my team and I." Gus comments, heading toward Y/N. "These two cards are for exclusive and lifetime service. With those, you'll automatically be given exclusive service for any inconvenience. This includes any future events from the Porsche Family. The final gift comes from the Porsche Family. They heard about your story and your career, and I was told to give this to you." Gus explains as he hands them out. "This final card contains $12 million dollars for Elena's education and whatever you desire." I wasn't expecting this at all. I look over to Y/N, their face dropped and became pale. "I'm sorry but I can't accept this. Like who am I to receive this? I'm another soldier." Y/N denies their last card. "It's in your name and you're a soldier with an amazing heart. This is not a debate about if you want it, it's a gift from us for your service and sacrifice." Gus hands out the black card. "I don't know what to say. I mean thank you, really. But..." They're completely speechless. "No excuses, Major. It's nice to do something for a fellow soldier." Gus reveals his tags.

Normal POV

Seeing Gus's tags gives me warmth and guilt. "You served?" My eyes met his face. "7 years. My team that you've met today, some of them have served or still are. So we take military personnel to heart." He explained with a smile. "Right, guys?" Gus yelled over to his team. Seeing some members of his team move into formation causing my body temperature to drop. As I look back at Gus, I recognize that he's also in formal position. "MAJOR" Their voices echoed as they saluted, earning goosebumps to travel around my neck. "AT EASE" I release the tension. "I thought you were Irish?" I commented on Gus's accent. "I am, doesn't mean I can't be in the military." He says, chuckling. Nicole would've fold to that laugh. "If you ever run into stubborn members or any problem, this is my card. Text or call whenever you'll like." We finally had our goodbyes. "Thank you Gus. Thank you everyone, for everything." I waved my hand as my arm went around Scarlett's shoulder. Hugging her hip by hip as we walked out of the building. "So how are we going to take this home?" Charles asked as he guided us to the cars. "I'll follow you guys back home. No biggie." I commented, earning a head tilt from Scar. "I want to go with you on your first ride." She says, defensively. "But Charles?" I don't want to leave him behind. "Y/N/N, don't worry about me. Enjoy and I'll see you both tomorrow. Besides, you have security following your steps." He says as he goes over to the SUV.
