Avoiding Love, Chasing Love

Chapter Four - Let the game begin!

Rain and Sky's first week was a success, they had made new friends and settled into their studies. Their tutors were nice, as were the seniors. Rain joined the running club, while Sky had joined the swimming club. They were both very fit and that surprised a lot of people, people were shocked with their strength that both showed. They looked so tiny and petite, but both boys were fearless. They had gained a lot of admires, and unknown to them photos of the "Cute Drs to Be" were doing the rounds on the schools gossip chat group.

The photo's reached the Business building and the photos, got the two alphas attention, 

"You don't think that is them, do you?" asked Pai, "But your boy has blonde hair, do you think he has dyed it black?" Pai mumbled. Phay wanted to race over to the building to check and Pai had to hold Phayu back from running over there, 

"Cuz, this is a turn around, you doing something reckless and me holding you back"

"Sorry, I just don't know what is wrong with me" Phayu was struggling to control himself. 

 "I do, you keep smelling that damn top and its driving you mad - stop thinking with your dick!" Pai was getting frustrated with Phayu. "Come on we need you cool brain to start working now"

Phayu slumped on the chair and looked towards the medical building, it was so far from their building, "Stick to our plan" Phayu said, "We will try and find a time when they are together and we will know as soon as we smell them"

"So follow them around out of sight and gather enough information on them to formulate a plan to catch them, if these two are in fact our mates" Pai said "Why does this sound like stalking?" he asked

"Because it is, but needs must. They are our mates but they keep running away" Phayu said as he looked at Rain's photo, he placed his thumb over the bottom part of the photo. Those big doe eyes looked back - he felt sure that this was the boy. "I think your right, he has even changed hair colour to try and escape me" He looked at the photo again with a smile on his face.

Just then two first years, walked pass them and they over heard them talking, "Quick if we hurry now, the medical football team is practicing, and my friend who is there said that those two cute drs to be are playing!!"

The two alphas looked at each other, "Well no time like the present!" Pai said with a smile. They both raced to the football ground. Sure enough, there they were, Pai was shocked to see the fan base these two had already gotten. They watched from a distance, under a tree to watch their mates. They were good and by the time practice was over, both were sweating and hot. There scents reached the two alphas, and it confirmed that they were the two boys who had ran from them. "We still need to get more info on them" Phayu said not taking his eyes off Rain

Rain was having banter with Sky and his other team mates by the water table, when he suddenly pulled off his top and started to wipe the sweat off this body. A large group of girls, screamed which startled the boys. Phayu stood up straight and fought the urge to walk over there and throw his boy over his shoulder, how dare he show his body off. Phayu's wolf, Boss started to pace in his mind, he too wanted to grab the boy. Pai put his hand on his cousins shoulder, "easy" was all he said.

Sky started to push his friend towards the changing room when he stopped and spun around, his eyes scanning the area, "Sky, are you ok?" asked Sig, "yeah, stupid really but I thought I could feel someone watching us" The team laughed, "yeah, its all them girls up there, you can thank Rain for pulling off his top off for that" Sky smiled, yeah that mush be it.

A week later

Rain was running, he liked to run in the evening, he liked the night sky. He had his earphones in and set a nice easy pace.

He started to run though the park near his dorm when he stopped. He turned off the music and pulled his earphones to around his neck. Something felt out of place. He looked back from the path he just run from, everything was still. The he heard a slight rustle to his left, "Who is there?" he asked, trying to hide the tremor. But only the silence of the park rung in his ears.

He lifted his nose to smell the air, but nothing smelled different. He decided not to put his earphone on as he continued to jog. This has happened to him a few time already, it feels like he is being watched.  He signed, stopped again and had one more look around before he started jogging towards the exit.  When he left the park he noticed a really nice superbike at the entrance, he stopped and looked at it, "So cool! he said, he then turned and ran back to the dorm.

Just them Phayu, slowly exited the park, with a slight smile. "You like my bike?" he softly asked the retreating back of his mate. He lent on his bike and watched the boy disappear into his building, in less than a week he had followed Rain and found out he loves to run, was into fitness, but not eating healthy, Phayu had never seen someone put away so much fried chicken! He was a cheerful soul and seem to have time for everyone. He could study in a group, but liked to study alone. He was clueless when it came to his looks, he could get lost at a drop of a hat and the boy had a bit of a temper and was stubborn.   Now he found out that Rain liked super bikes. He already had a plan on how to 'accidentally meet him'. Phayu got on his bike and drove away.

He returned to his apartment block and decided to drop in on Pai.  The two sat at the table while Pai was looking something up on his Ipad.  "Have you finished stalking Rain?" Pai asked Phayu with a smile.  "I'm gathering intel on him, not stalking" was the response, "you use your word and I use mine" smiled Pai.

"What about you and your boy?" Asked Phayu, Pai lent back in his seat, "Well my stalking is going very well, but I have had to be careful as I almost got caught a couple of times, he is very aware of his surroundings" Pai admitted, He was kept on his toes with his mate.  A lot of time was spent either at the library or at the pool.  He was a serous person, but had a dry sense of humour and warm hearted, very quick witted and very loyal to his friend, Rain.  He looked after him, it was cute to watch.  He was not fussy with food, but seem to favour rice dishes.  He liked going to the gym, but he really seem to enjoy sitting under trees and reading.  Quite a few times he fell asleep, and he attracted a lot of attention which he did not notice.  

"But I must apologise to you cuz".  Phayu looked at his cousin in surprise, "Well, I ended up swiping a shirt from his locker, while he was training" confessed Pai, "And now, I can't stop smelling it"  

Phayu laughed at his cousin, "Ah! So now you know my pain", Pai had the courage to at least look embarrassed, the scent of your mate is over powering when they are not with you.  "I am going to try and meet him now, I really can't hold back any longer" Phayu admitted.

"Sir, I wish you luck!" said his cheeky cousin, "but I need to suggest something"  Phayu looked at Pai and raised his eyebrow, "We need them to be on there own, divide and conquer.  They are as think as thief's and they help each other out of all sorts"

"Agreed, so what day shall we do this?" Asked Phayu, Pai grinned as they laid out their plan.
