Avoiding Love, Chasing Love

Chapter One - On your marks!

Running though the streets of Bangkok, was an handsome boy who every now and again looked over his shoulder as if he was scared of whatever was behind him.  He found a side street to hide down, there were lots of smells that would hide him from the one who was chasing him.  "How have I gotten myself into this mess?" He asked himself.  

Flashback

"Sky" Rain called his best friend on his mobile, "I think that I go off at the wrong stop again!"  Rain was looking around and knew that this was not the place that he had to meet his friend.  Rain was too eager to explore, he had only just arrived in Bangkok three days ago with his best friend, Sky.  Sky was not in a rush to explore, he wanted to rest after unpacking his dorm room.

Sky was the calmer of the two and was very logical in his approach to problems.  Rain was the kind of guy to act first and then think later.  So after they moved to Bangkok to continue their studies, it was Rain who wanted to run around getting used the the new environment, while Sky wanted to read reviews and look at maps rather than just roam around aimlessly.

That morning, Rain set out early in to explore and have fun, and Sky agreed to meet him later for lunch.  Sky sent Rain the location of where to meet in a text.

"For the love of God Rain, the message had a drop location pin in it, How have you gotten yourself lost" Sky already knew that this was a possibility.  "Look, I am sending you a new location, I will meet you there, if it helps its a train station".  With that Rain received notification of the next meeting place and he set off happily. 

He started to follow the map and it lead him to walk towards a park.  In this park Rain saw couple's walking around, being all lovey dovey.  There was a mix of werewolf and human couples, but Rain considered them equal fools.  Love is not real, that is one thing that Rain and Sky agree on, the so call mate bond it is just as weak as human love, why put yourself though that pain?

The only thing is that Sky and Rain were male omegas, which in its self is rare.  The other thing about them is that they are very beautiful looking men in their own way, they have always turned heads, but they were oblivious to the attraction they held for both sexes.  Sky had a dark smouldering standoffish attraction about him, where Rain had almost enteral, delicate beauty with his big adorable eyes, both men and women have fallen into them.

Rain shook his head at these fools, enjoying the sun and all the beauty the park had to offer.  Walking though, he slowed his pace to look around he spotted flowers and was drawn to them.  Rain has always loved nature.  While his was admiring their beauty, he suddenly became aware of another smell, it was like chocolate mixed with a heavy musky scent.  Rain lifted his head and smelled the air around him.  The smell was familiar but he could not quite place it.  He stood up and then looked around, "Is it food?" he wondered.  

Suddenly, in the distance he saw two men, both tall but one had long hair that was pulled back in to a bun and the other had short hair.  They both were well built, but what caught his attention was the man with the man bun was, sniffing the air around him in almost manic state, and he was talking fast to his friend, who seem to be looking around too.  

Rain could not understand why he could not take his eyes of the that man, and now he could feel his body reacting.  He looked down at himself not understanding why his body felt so alive.  He looked up towards the man again, only to find him looking in to a dark pair of hawk eyes, even with the distance between them, he could feel their heat.  Also of a sudden his wolf, Noel shouted in his ear 'Mate!', there was a moment of recognition between them, and the man yelled something and his friend turn around to look at Rain.

"Oh shit" Rain said, that was an alpha, no no no no no.   Rain flew into a panic - the mate bond would not happen to him.  He turned and ran as fast as he could, far away from that guy.  He heard the shout and knew that the alpha would be chasing him.  He kept running though the unfamiliar streets, he saw the food street and make a left in to it as he knew all the scents down there can be confusing and his best chance at hiding.

Present 

Currently Rain is catching his breath behind the restaurant, looking down the ally to see if that alpha was still trying to find him.  His phone rung, "Rain, where are you?" a pissed off Sky asked, Rain quickly described what had happened.  Stunned Sky began working on a plan to get Rain out of there.  Suddenly Rain saw the alpha and his friend walk pass the ally, "Shit!!! he has just walked pass" Rain whispered, "Sky help!!" 

"Don't worry Rain, stay on the phone I I will direct you to me" Sky said.  Thank God for Sky, Rain thought.  He crept down the ally and looked up the road, he could see the men in the distance, Yep they were far enough away, he could outrun them he was sure of that.  Rain had his phone to his ear and listened to his friend's instructions.  Finally outside of a station, he saw Sky and he jogged over.  "Here put this mask on" Sky instructed and gave Rain a rail pass, to use on any train, " Right lets get out of here".  

Rain started to relax, and unknowy let his scent out. They were at the top of the station walk when they heard a yell, they both looked over the barrier.  There were the two alphas looking up at them from below.

Sky's head turned towards the noise and made eye contact with the short haired alpha with the honey coloured eyes, Peat , is wolf, jumped up and shouted 'Mate', "Oh fuck no" said Sky as the man clearly recognised the mate bond between them as well, "Rain, fucking run!" said Sky, they both took off as fast as they could.  Knowing that the alpha's were not far behind them, "Rain talk your hoodie off, its full of your scent" Rain said, Rain did as he was told and took it off while running.  Once off he handed it to Sky, who threw it on an bench and then pulled Rain on to a train that was ready to leave.  They sat by a window and watched the two alpha's run on the platform and look around.  The alpha with the bun, was running towards the train but stopped and sniffed, he turned round and walked to the bench.  Just then the doors of the train closed.  Rain and Sky both looked at closed doors and then at each other.  They smiled under their masks and gave each other a high five.  

"Fuck!" yelped Sky all of a sudden, at the window stood the two alphas looking at them, they were out of breath and looked at the two masked omega's in confusion.

Just then the train very slowly began to move,  Rain, now that he thought he was safe, gave a cheeky wave to the alpha with the man bun,  in response the alpha held up Rains Hoodie and pointed at the university logo, with his own smile.

Oh shit! Sky forgot about the university logo.  

"This is not good" Rain said

"We may need to change schools" Sky signed.
