Chapter Thirteen - Let me be there for you

For the next few weeks, Rain made an effort to stop pushing Phayu away.  He started to make the first move in communication, for example he started to text Phayu in the morning, to wish him a good day.  They had also had a few dates, were it was just them, it turned out that they had few things in common.  Rain started to see another side of Phayu, he was really easy to talk to and he was very intelligent, he had a wide range of interest.  

One morning Phayu asked Rain if he was free to spend the day with him, Rain agreed and waited for his call.  He went to Sky's room, he knocked on the door and was surprised to see that Pai answered the door.  The surprise must of shown on his face, Pai smiled, "I came early this morning as Sky fancied some fresh bread" he explained.  

"Rain, are you ok?" Sky was sitting on the floor, eating the breakfast Pai had prepared him.  "Yeah, I wanted to let you know that I was going out with Phayu today" Rain said, after that day Rain made sure that he let everyone know where he was and where he was going.  Even P'Big was surprised at the change in Rain, he no longer had to look around for open window for escape plan.  He felt better knowing that Rain had calm down.  

"Where are you going?" Sky asked, "I did not ask" Rain explained "He wanted to surprise me".  Just then his phone rung and it was P'Phayu letting him know that he was downstairs, "I better go" he waved and walked out of the room.  

"P'Pai, are you sure that we should not let Rain know what is going to happen?" Rain asked, "I feel bad knowing that his mate is going into his rut soon".  Pai sat down next to Sky, "I know how you feel, but Phayu is worried about Rain being near him as they have not been physical"  

"So your plan is to send us away?" Sky asked, 

"No, Phayu does not want you two to be on your own.  His idea is to make it look like its a trip for the four of us, but he will drop out at the last moment.  He wanted to make sure that Rain is distracted".  

"P'Pai, this still feels wrong, I know the theory behind having the heats and ruts" Sky said "and its not a small matter to interrupt the process.  In fact it can damage the body"

Pai looked at Sky, he loved the fact Sky was worried about his cousin, "I love that you are worried, but Phayu is really set on this plan and I need your help to make it work", Pai looked at him with pleading eyes, Sky signed, "OK, I will help but I don't like it" He stuck out his bottom lip.  Damn he was so cute, Pai could not help himself, he lent forward and brushed his lips against Sky's.  He was surprised when Sky pressed his lips back, slowly they leaned into each other and deepen the kiss.  It started off slow but go hotter and hotter, Sky ran his hands though Pai's hair, while Pai held on to Sky's neck.  

When the kiss finally broke they just stared at each other, their breathing heavy and they stared at each other in shock.  Pai smiled, "Not sure how that happened but I wanna try that again", he lent in for another try, Sky pushed him away and got up.  "Don't push your luck" he said as he ran to his bedroom, as he tried to hide his red face.

Rain ran downstairs and saw Phayu waiting for him, he was leaning against a bike.  "Cool bike, is it yours?" Rain asked excitedly, He looked at at Phayu with his big eyes.  Phayu smiled and placed a helmet on Rains head.  "Come on lets go for a ride" Phayu said.  He got on the bike and helped Rain on the back.  He loved that he could feel Rain pressed up against his back, the faster the bike went, Rain tightened his arms around him.  It made Phayu smile, he drove to the beach.  They had a great time, Rain loved paddling in the sea and he loved it more when Phayu picked him up and spun him around.  

At the end of the day, Phayu brought up they had a brake from school and it be a nice time for the the four of them to have a trip.  Rain was really excited at the idea, "Can we go to the beach?" he asked, Phayu smiled and said, "Why not" as he brushed hair out of Rains eyes, he then slowly bent down and brushed his lips against Rains.  Rain brought his arms up and around Phayu neck.  Their kiss deepened, Rain enjoyed kissing Phayu, he liked the taste of him.  He like it when Phayu pulled him close.  Their kiss ended, Rain slowly opened his eyes to see Phayu smiling at him.
