Chapter Six - Plan Interrupted

Sky finished class and told Rain that he had to go to his club, he had to train for a inter competition .  Rain said that he was going to study as he needed to finish some assessments.

"Why? Are you behind?" Sky asked, 

"I had qualifying for my club so I put a couple of assessments on hold" explained Rain, "Now we have these two given to us today, I just want them all done and out of the way.  I want to rest this weekend" 

Sky looked at his best friend, he had noticed that Rain had been rubbing his head a lot, and he felt a little warm.  Sky stopped Rain and turned his to face him, He noticed that Rains lips and face were a little pale, but his cheeks looked a little flushed.  "Are you ill?" He asked, he started to worry about his friend.  Rain does not get sick often, but when he gets sick, he gets really sick.  And he goes down very quickly, last time this happen was when he was doing track activities, he had a small cold but because he pushed himself the fever took hold and Rain ended up in hospital.   Rain had a fear of hospitals due to a childhood experience, so it was traumatising for him. 

"I am fine, I will go and get this done and then go back to the condo and sleep" promised Rain, the two friends parted ways, "Rain, text me when your home" Sky asked.

He went to the swimming club and picked up his training schedule, he stopped to chat to some seniors and he felt it again, he felt eyes on him.  He scanned the area and he thought he saw some hiding behind a pillar at the entrance of the pool.  He walked over there but could not find anyone.  'Am I going mad'?, thought Sky, he shook his head and headed towards the library, he decided that he will try and get all the assessments completed today, If Rain was ill he will need to be looked after.

He settled in one of the booths and set to work, he was almost finished when he felt someone slide in next to him trapping in the booth.  He thought it was his friend, Sig, but then the scent of fresh spice and wine hit his nose.  He tuned his head so quickly that he thought his neck would snap.  

There sitting next to him was that Alpha, he was smiling at him like an idiot.  He was holding a bag in his hand and he was offering it to Sky. 

"Hey" said the alpha, he was overly cheerful.  Sky just stared at him as he was dumb folded, this alpha just walked up and sat down - without asking - and it looked like he was offering him food, but the thing was the ease that he did it with, there was no shame!

Sky looked around and saw that there was a few students about and a couple of teachers, he could not kick up a fuss here without attracting attention to himself.  He heard the alpha chuckle at his dilemma, "What are you going to do Sky?" he asked, "I am sure that you will not cause a fuss in front of the teachers".  Sky's eye's widen, 'How does he know my name?' he thought. 

Parpai followed Sky after his class ended, he knew that Phayu was catching his little cutie today, he had a whole plan sorted, Parpai's plan was not as set in stone as his cousins, but he knew that food had to be involved and it had to be today, as this is the say that two omegas went home separately.  Pai watched Sky train, he licked his lips and he watched the water run down his chest and stomach.  Sky's fan club was also there screaming their heads off, he shook his head at them.  To be honest, he wished he could be there with them to scream at Sky.  

He noticed Sky had headed for the changing room, a little while later he came out and grabbed a sheet from one of this seniors.  By now Pai had changed locations and was by the entrance, when all of a sudden Sky, swung round and looked him, he managed to hide and move before Sky could get close enough to investigate.  Sky then headed towards the library and sat in his normal booth, great I can trap him there.  He went outside and ordered food, and then went straight to where Sky was and just sat down, Pai was just going to wing it.

Sky signed, and gathered his pens together, "Ok smartarse, you know my name, may I know yours?"

Pai smiled, "It's Parpai, but you can call me P'Pai or the hot wind God - your choice" he cheeky said.  "Ok, Mr Parpai, what do you want?" Sky asked 

Again Pai held out the take away bag, "I brought you chicken and rice, I thought you be hungry".  "And why would I be hungry?" Sky asked, he lent back and crossed his arms.

"Well its getting late and it looks like your studying hard" Pai said, "You need to refuel", with that he pulled out the container and opened it and placed in front of Sky.  Sky looked at the food on the table, it smelled amazing and his mouth started to water.  He looked at Pai, "Have you poisoned this?" he asked.  Pai laughed, he was delighted that Sky was talking to him, "No I would never let food be wasted like that"

Sky lent forward, he was hungry and this was free food.  So he slowly picked up the spoon and started to eat, from the glances he could see that Pai was grinning, and was leaning on the table.

When Sky was finished with his food, Pai automatically put all the rubbish back in the back.  He also used a wet wipe to clean Sky's lip.  Sky was surprised, as it seemed that Pai considered this behaviour normal.

Once the table was cleared, Pai looked straight in his eyes and said, "Go on a date with me"

"No" was the instant response, "Please? Go on a date with me?" pleaded Pai, his eyes reminded Sky of a puppy.  Right now this is a puppy that Sky needed to kick.

"Look" Sky started to say, when his phone rung.  The caller ID was Rain.  "Sorry I have to take this".  He answered the phone, "Hey Rain, are you ok? Are you at home?"

The phone was silent, then a voice he did not know said, "Hi you don't know me, but I am Rain's mate.  He is sick and would not let me take him to hospital.  He has a high fever, could you please come?" the deep voice was destressed.

"Who are you?" asked Sky, he panicked for two reasons, his friend was sick and the second was because he seemed to be with the man he had been running from.  "My name is Phayu" was the answer. "Phayu?" Sky repeated out loud, this seemed to have gotten Pai's attention, "Where are you now?" Sky asked, "At my home" was the response. 

Sky felt his phone taken off him, "Phayu, why do you have his friends phone?" Pai demanded.  Phayu rushed to tell him what had happened.  "We will be there in 15" Pai said as he ended the call.  "Quick, get your things, it sounds like your friend is really sick, I need to get you to Phayu's home"

Sky was too stunned to tell Pai off for taking his phone, he just wanted to get to his friend.  Together the exited the building and jumped into Pai bike.  
"Please be ok Rain" Sky prayed.
