"Wow I kind of expected the four of them to have taken their chances to run and get as far away from us as possible." A light calming female voice said.

"And now love you owe me twenty bucks after we take these girls back to Malcom who will then take it from there." The male voice said.

These two people walked from between a section of clustered trees. Across their backs are large tranquilizers that look like they are fully loaded to knock the four of us out straight onto our asses. In an instant the four of us band closer together with our backs turned inwards so that we are facing the man and the woman. Searching the two faces of these neither one of them look like they are compromising on how we get out of here alive or in four long black body bags. Millicent and I are more face on to these people than Veronica and Emersyn are. So that gives Emersyn a better chance at a hiding place away from the praying eyes of the man and woman.

The two of them strode closer to us with permanent grins plastered on their faces. The man is very bulking in muscle however he is on the shorter side of things. On the other hand, the unknown woman is a tall blonde who has three brutal deep looking scar's running down her left check. As they come to stand in front of Millicent and I, Emersyn burst between the two of us and attacked them head on. Facking an attack on the male she served and went in for a sly move of the woman. Sweeping the woman's feet from right out underneath her.

Falling back on her arse the female knocked her head on a rock and rendered herself unconscious. Under my breath I chuckled at her helpless and lifeless body on the floor in a heap. Emersyn turned her back on the fallen woman and straight out punched the male in the gut for him to bend over and crying out in pain. Quickly with blunt force Emersyn uses her knee to break his nose. His hands fled straight to his nose which are now covered in crimson red blood. In one last move Emersyn gets up close with him and uses a pressure point technique that put the male unconscious for a few hours. Now that both of them are safely I can let go of the breath that I didn't realise I was holding.

As silence settled down like dust between the four of us. Veronica wondered about some rubble looking for something in particular. I took it upon myself to have a little look around the place. Through the trees I can hear a trickling of water running over rocks and pebbles.. It sounds like a small stream or river nearby that could potentially lead in the direction of somewhere. Out of the corner of my eye Emersyn is using on of the tranquilliser guns on the knocked out male and female. Millicent on the other hand is stood in the same spot very motionless and unresponsive to us around her. As much as it concerns me Millicent needs to come to her own terms with this all. The small rift between us is definitely going to be a major problem in the future. If we don't pack it in none of us are going to find the correct way home and away from Malcom and his nasty men in black.

"Found what I was looking for guys. The first aid kit is a little battered here and there but still has what I need to help patch up the lot of you up." Veronica called out.

"Yes finally my nose is bloody killing me over here and I cannot take much longer with the pain." Emersyn called back over to her.

Veronica popped out from between the two boulders like rocks that are partly sat on a Humvee. A trail of bright red blood slowly slivered its way from out underneath the Humvee where a pale white hand is peaking out. Emersyn headed straight to where Veronica is sat between the two rocks with the first aid kit on her lap. Before I could make my way over to Veronica and Emersyn. I made a quick pit stop in front of Millicent who is swaying side to side very slightly like she is swaying in time with the rocking of a boat at sea.

"You alright Millicent?" you don't look so good standing there as silent as you are." I said.

Standing toe to toe with her I looked at Millicent straight dead in the eyes. She met my meaningful gaze but however there is no twinkle in her eye. There is no glimpse of hope or even life staring back at me.On the outside physically I can't see anything wrong with her apart from some minor cuts, scraps, and bruises in different places. Mentally it could be completely different story and I don't think I would have been much help if I try to fix whatever she is going through in her mind. Surveying her rigid body language her fists are slowly opening and closing in a motion that Millicent is thinking about something that is not necessarily on the good side of things.
