Before the screen continued to show the events of Elara's life, a commotion of panicked voice's interrupted the wizarding communities focus. Both professors and parents raised their wands in alarm and stood from their relaxed positions, heading towards the doors and preparing to fight off any unwanted intruders.
Elara furrowed her brows at the voices, finding them vaguely familiar but not being able to match them to faces. That was until the doors burst open and a smile immediately lit up her face. Stood in the doorway were her family, the man in the centre being her favourite person in the entire world.
The four siblings stood together as they stared at the unfamiliar faces, but their stony faces changed instantly when they caught sight of the remaining two members of their small, dysfunctional family. Peter's eyes locked eyes with hers and all the people around him faded into the background. He scanned her face, memorising and falling in love with all her features all over again. He hadn't realised how much he had missed seeing her smile until then.
Elara's feet moved without thought, she ran towards him with no care of how silly she looked to everyone else. The smile grew brighter on her face when she saw him open up his arms to welcome her into his embrace. She leapt into his arms, wrapping her legs around his waist and nuzzling her face into his neck, she was home.
"Looks like someone missed me." Peter smiled into his girls hair.
"Shut up, you goon." Elara smiled into his neck, her breath tickling his skin and sending shivers down his spine.
Leo had also wasted no time in making his way to the Pevensies, bringing his sisters and brother into a long awaited hug with a relived sigh. "Oi Lara, stop flirting and come say hello." he teased without removing his arms from around his siblings.
Elara lifted her head to look at the rest of her family and with a small smile and a disgruntled huff from Peter, she threw herself out of his arms and towards Lucy, Susan and Edmund.
"Elara! I missed you so much." Lucy's excited squeal matched Elara's ecstatic laughter as the younger girl cling tightly to her side. "I missed you too Luce." Elara smiled, bringing Susan into her arms and pressing a light kiss to her cheek.
Leo, Edmund and Peter were preoccupied doing a small greeting of their own to notice the girls reunion or the questioning stares of the rest of the hall.
"Hey, El. Mind introducing us to your friends?" Dave called out to his best friend, wondering who these strange people, who she was fawning over, were.
"Dave, these are the Pevensies. Lucy, Susan, Ed, Peter, this is Dave, my best friend." Elara smiled the brightest her friends had seen in a long time. Daphne and Pansy suddenly understood everything that had just happened and excitedly squealed as they ran towards their sister.
