Love Is War (Manjiro Sano X OC)

Chapter 1

Just a bit of a disclaimer real quick before this starts, this story is based on the Manga and I am adding my own character into it, no chapter in this story will be sexual but simply just a love story.

"Mei wake up! We're going to be late for school!" I jumped up hearing my name but rolled into my blanket and went back to sleep. "Mei wake up, we need to go now!" I opened my eyes slightly to see my brother, Keisuke, pulling my leg, yanking me off the bed. I laid on the floor looking up at him.

Me: "Keisuke what is wrong with you."

Keisuke: "What's wrong with me? Hurry up and get ready!" I looked at the time, 6:59... 6:59?!

I jumped up and quickly ran to my closet to grab my school uniform and threw it on my bed. Keisuke walked out before I quickly got dress into my outfit. I ran to the bathroom in my room and started brushing my teeth. I put my shoes on while I brushed my teeth just to speed up the process. Shit, this is the 3rd time this week I've been late for school. I'm gonna get in trouble! I spit the tooth paste out and gargled mouth wash for a couple seconds before spitting it out as well.

Keisuke: "Are you ready?"

Me: "Yeah I'm coming!"

I quickly grabbed my bag and a hair tie and ran out of my room. I quickly tried putting my hair up in a ponytail as I walked out of our apartment but I clashed into someone, falling down onto the concrete. I scraped my hand, causing my palm to start bleeding.

"Hey are you okay?" I looked up to see who I clash into. It was a boy, around me and Keisuke's age with short blonde hair. "I'm sorry let me help you up." I looked at my hands before I noticed Keisuke was right next to me walking the encounter.

Keisuke: "Hey you, why'd you push my little sister?"

Me: "You're only older by 10 minutes." The boy held his hand out to me and I took it, pushing myself up. "Anyways he didn't mean it-"

Keisuke: "Don't touch her."

The boy: "I was just helping her up, geez."

I stepped back as I notice Keisuke stepping up to the boy. Oh boy... He's gonna beat him up. Keisuke held is arm back and swung at him, but the boy block it with his bare hand. No one hasn't ever really tried to block Keisuke's punch or even tried to fight against him. The boy grabbed his wrist and through him backwards. I was star-struck looking at them.

The boy: "I'm sorry man, you left me no choice!" He turned around and helped him up. "Well this is a great way to meet your new neighbor, well my name is Manjiro Sano. What are your names?"

Keisuke: "Keisuke Baji."

Sano: "Baji Nice. And you?" He said looking over at me. I felt my face feel warm as our eyes met.

Keisuke: "Mei stop blushing and introduce yourself."

Sano: "Mei?" My body jumped as he said my name.

Me: "Um, yeah, I'm Mei, Mei Baji."

Sano: "You have a beautiful name Mei. Well let's go to schools my friends."

Me: "Um, hold on I'm still bleeding." I ran inside and rinsed off the blood on my hand. My mom cam into the bathroom with e in there.

Mom: "Mei, why aren't you at school?"

Me: "Um I fell on the ground and scraped my hand so I needed to get a bandage." I wiped my hand on a towel as my mom grabbed the box of bandages. She took out a bandage and placed it on my palm for me.
