Chapter 6

A slight squeeze to me hand. I opened my eyes to the bright light room. I look down and saw Mikey holding my hand next to my bed, passed out like a baby.

Me: "Mikey.." I let go of his hand and held his head. This woke him up. He looked at me confused, then he was happy.

Mikey: "Mei!" He hugged me and starting kissing my cheek over and over again.

Me: "Ahh Mikeyy stoppp!"

Mikey: "I can't resist you! You're so pretty!" I started zoning off and I didn't even realize it. "Are you okay?"

Me: "Oh, yeah. I'm just trying to remember what happened."

Mikey: "You don't remember?"

Me: "I kinda blacked out earlier, I don't remember anything from..." What popped into my mind just then, was Kenny. I forgot, he was stabbed. "Is Kenny okay?!"

Mikey: "I haven't checked up on him yet.."

Me: "Well you should've, we need to go see him!"

Mikey: "Wow, not so fast, you still need to heal."

Me: "I'm fine, I'm as lively as ever." I heard the door open and it was a doctor.

Doctor: "Hi again Mei, I see you sure like to visit me."

Me: "Hi doctor Hana, how are you?"

Doctor: "I'm good, Well you were knocked out cold when we treated you and did your CT scan. You have a minor concussion which is better then what we were expecting. I need to run a test on you, so I'm going to shine this light into your eyes to see if they're light sensitive so look at my nose and nothing else." I nodded and she pulled out the light and shine them into both my eyes. "Okay now follow my finger. Okay... it seems that your brain is functioning normally. So we have to keep you here for 24 hours but i'll leave you guys be, if you need anything give us a call."

Me: "Thank you doctor Hana." She walked out. I looked over at Mikey and was a bit happy. "Great news, I'm not dying!" He came against the bed and kissed me.

Mikey: "I'm glad."

Me: "Hey, is Baji here?"

Mikey: "He's outside the room, want me to get him?"

Me: "Please, I want to talk to him alone. You should go see if Kenny's doing okay."

Mikey: "Okay, I'll be back later." He got up and walked out, Baji walked in a moment after.

Baji: "Hey sis, how are you doing?"

Me: "Good, I wanted your opinion on something." 

Baji: "What's up?"

Me: "This might just be my minor concussion talking but I want to leave Toman and everyone else behind."

Baji: "So like every friend of ours? Your even gonna leave Mikey?"

Me: "Kinda? It's just scary now. Like who brings knives to fights now? It was just fists before, now weapons are involved. And Kaz- Nvm.." I looked over at him and I felt tears escaping my eyes. "I just don't want to die. I'm not ready."

Baji: "I thought you were the strongest sibling, so why're you crying?"

Me: "This is a life or death situation, plus a girl can't have emotions?"

Baji: "You're strong, we'll stay alive until we're old! But if you want to leave, no one is going to stop you."

Me: "Yeah but I'm scared about losing everyone else the most. I love them and I don't want to stop being everyone's friend, I'd hate myself."
