Runaway Horse

~~ Chapter Five ~~

When I got to Bird and Clover I was happy to see they where still there. And Clover was doing better. She is walking on it a lot now. After all of that scare. I put Birds hackamore on and taped his withers. He kneeled down and I jumped on carefulnot to hurt Clover. After I made sure Bird would listen I clicked him on. I really need to find out where I am. As I am looking around I see this fence. Its a white wash board fence. So I get off of Bird and walk up to it. I see so many horses and two big barnes. Wow I am in love. Maybe I can board Bird there and get a job to earn his keep. I'll try it. I clicked Bird on and for some reason he started at a fast lope. Hmmmm. "What's wrong boy." I say as I look around then I saw it. It was a.............. Cute Calico kitten. Shocker huh. I just laugh. "Bird u scared of that little kitten haha. Ur funny Bird." I get off to pick her up and I was thinking. I need a name. Cali. That's perfect. Anyway I put her in the other saddle bag pouch with the blankets and curls up and goes to sleep. We finally get to the gate of the ranch. Its called Blue Sky Ranch. It has three barn. The other I didn't see. And about five log cabins and a outside pool. Awesome I think as I walk into the gates. I see a couple girls and they notice me. They come walking up careful not to spook Bird. The dark haired girl says" Are y'all new cuz we haven't seen u around here before. And let me introduce us. I'm Brittany, the blonde is Lilly, and the red head is Ginger. Kinda ironic huh." After she introduced them I introduced myself and the animals. "Hi guys my name is Amanda and this is Bird. My dog is Clover and she sprained her paw. And my kitten is called Cali." I say as I hop off of Bird and ask where the manager is. "She is in the first cabin that is her office." "OK" I say as I walk off. I finally get there a few seconds later and knock on the door. She answers it and welcomes me. "U must be new. Welcome to Blue Sky Ranch. Do u want to board here or buy a cabin." She says with a smile. Shes nice. "Umm both actually. Since I have only enough money to buy a cabin I was wondering if I could have a job to earn Birds keep." I say in a hopeful manner. "Ilk see let me check. But first come in and have  a shower. She says looking me up and down. "OK I'll do that. But where do I put bird. O put him in the paddock next to this house. After I do that I go in and take a shower, eat then go to bed.
