Runaway Horse

~~ Chapter Ten ~~

When I woke up the dream hit me. It wasn't a dream. I get up and decide to go to the towns dollar store. I go tack a shower and brush my hair and teeth and get dressed. After I am done in the house I walk out and go to the barn and grab Bird and let him follow me on his free will. When we got to the tack room I grabed my English saddle and bridle and saddle pad. After I put them on I walk him to the arna and warmed him up. One lap walking and one lap trotting. After I warmed him up I let him rest and got off of Bird and got the jumps set up 3'5 and get back on him. I make sure he is well warmed up the I canter to the jump and he speeds up and I get into my position and he jumps clearing it with inches to spare. After we done that jump a couple more times, I set up a course varying of 8 jumps and ranging from 2'3 to 3'5. About thirty minutes later we had completed the course three times so I got off and took his bridle off and let him walk free range behind me. When we got to the tack room I took his tack off and sent him to his stall and started to polish my tack. Once I was done I got Sun and put his halter on him and walked to the tack room. I hot his western tack and put it on him and lead him to the arena. I got a lunge rope and whip by the gate and put it on him and started lunging him. Three laps walking and three laps trotting and two laps loaping. And in each different direction. After I'm sdone lunging I get the mounting block and put it by Sun and get on. I put wait in his back and he just stands there. Well that's new. So I put more wait on his back ad that's when it hot crazy. He reard and almost kicked me and ran around bucking and rearing trying to get the saddle of his back AGAIN. After he was done with his little episode I got an idea. I went to the tack room and got something heavy. It was a bag of feed so I got strap and carried it to the arena. I walked up to him and quickly put the sack on his back and strapped it on and let him go. After his episode I think he got used to cuz he was just walking around. So I went up to him and took the sack off and I slowly got on him. He just sighed a hose sigh. I think I just won. I walked him around the arena to cool him off and walked to the tack room and put him on the cross ties. I took the tack off of him and brushed and hosed him. Then I put him back in his stall and fed everyone after they ate I took them out one by one and mucked there stalls out and brushed and washed every horse and gave them some fresh water and bedding. After that it was dark so I walked back to the house and set down some food and water for Clover and Cali and took a shower and brushed my hair and teeth. I forgot to mention tomorrow is a show. And I am taking Sun and Bird. It is a western show and u can do barrels, poles, rings, and stakes. After I did my stuff I went to bed. I soon fell asleep.
