The Break Up

    Its been 2 months since your accident. And you slowly regained back your memory. But you and Eddie have been distant. You guys haven't talked much since you guys broke up. You have a doctors appointment coming up to see the gender of the baby. And yes,Eddie will be there. Because he is the father.

   You drove yourself to your appointment. Eddie was already there. Waiting for you. You got out of your car,grabbed your purse. You are 5 months by the way. He walked up to you and hugged you. You felt a little awkward around him. You feel like the break up tore him apart. He doesn't look the same. When he hugged you,you couldn't help but to hug him back. You walked in. And signed yourself in. You sat 3 seats down from Eddie. Which was unusual for you. You felt so guilty. After a 20 minute wait they called you in. You got up and so did Eddie. You both followed the nurse into a room. She had you lay down on the bed and to lift up your shirt. You did just that. You lifted up your shirt with your belly exposed. Eddie kept staring at your stomach. He still can't rack his brain about becoming a father. The nurse placed the scanner on your belly and started moving it around. She looked at you and Eddie. She said "Do you guys want to know the gender of your baby?"  You both nodded your heads yes. Your eyes were glued to the screen. Just admiring your baby. She kept moving that wand around your belly,trying to get the baby to open its legs. "Alright,now I can see what this precious baby is. You guys ready to find out?" You said yes. "Okay,you both are gonna be parents to a baby.....girl!" Your eyes bursted out in tears. You were so happy. You grabbed Eddie's hand. "Oh my god we are having a daughter Eddie!" Eddie took your hand off of his and walked out of the room. The nurse looked at you,while you were in tears and said "Oh sweetheart,its alright. He probably has cold feet. First time fathers do this all the time. He'll come around."

    You are finished with your appointment. The nurse gave you some ultrasound photos of your daughter. You figured Eddie would be waiting for you in the lobby. But he's not there. You scheduled your next appointment. And walked outside. You see Eddie sitting on the curb. With his head in his hands. You walked over to him. You were flaming pissed. "What the fuck was that? When she mentioned that we were having a daughter,you got up and walked out of the room. What the fuck is wrong with you? You said that you were gonna be with me throughout this whole pregnancy and-and go to appointments with me. I need a fucking answer,Eddie! Please fucking explain." Eddie got up off the ground and looked you dead in the eye and said "I don't have to do jack shit with you. I didn't even want to be here. I wasn't gonna show up. We aren't together anymore. We broke up, remember. You don't want to be with me anymore. I loved you y/n. I even cared for you. Now since your damn accident,that changed everything. I don't want to be around you no more." His words cut through you like a knife. You were broken. Tears fell from your eyes. You stormed to the new car that your mom bought you. You got in the car and started banging on your steering wheel. You looked over and noticed Eddie walking towards you. You rolled down your window. And said "Leave me the fuck alone Eddie. I have nothing to do with you. Remember,we aren't together anymore. And you don't want to be with me. So goodbye Eddie." You drove off with tears in your eyes.

Eddie's pov:
   What the fuck did I just do? I lost her and now I'm losing my daughter as well. I'm such a damn jerk for what I am doing to her. She deserves so much more. She deserves the whole damn world. I need to try and make this right. I can't be without her. I want to be with her. I fucking promised her that I would one day make her my wife. And now that's not gonna happen,all because of my stupidity. I do want to be there for her and my daughter. I don't want to lose them. I can't imagine living without them. Seeing her drive off in tears again,fucking broke me. I need to fix this and I need to do it now!"

  Eddie had a plan. He went to the nearest jewelry shop. Went in and asked the worker for some help. The worker was very kind and sweet. She helped him immediately. "So deary,who are you shopping for today?" Eddie looked at her and said "I did something stupid. I broke up with my girlfriend y/n over a month ago. And we are having a baby together. Her and I have been together for 6 months. I feel like I did a bad thing. She was my everything. And now I lost her and my daughter I would do anything to get her back in my life. I want to do anything in my power to try and make her love me again. She was my everything." The lady looked at Eddie with sad eyes and said "Sweet boy,break ups are hard,especially if there's gonna be a little one soon. The only thing I can say is,but you don't have to do it,  is for you to propose to her. Tell her that you are sorry for hurting her and that you want to be there for her and your daughter. So son,buy a damn ring,get down on one knee and ask that beautiful young lady of yours to marry you. I truly know she will say yes." Eddie bought a princess cut diamond ring which cost him a lot of money. But he didn't give a shit. He wanted you back. He would go above and beyond for you. He would do anything to get you back. He thanked the jeweler and left to go to your place.

This is the ring he had bought for you. And he's hoping you say yes.
