 {Next day}

  {Philip's Pov}

"Philip? Can you watch Eliza while we are gone?" Mom asked, handing me Eliza.

"Of course mom," I said, putting Eliza on my hip.

"We'll be right back," Mom kissed Eliza's cheek then mine.

"Have fun, Love you," I said, my mom gave me a smile.

"Love you too," Mom said, closing the door.

My mom went with my Aunt Angelica, my cousins, Dad, AJ, and Angie to a ball we were invited to but I didn't want to, if Y/n was there I would go. I don't know anyone besides my family here.

"I guess it's just me and you little Eliza," I said, tickling Eliza's side. Eliza giggled and we headed upstairs to the room I was staying in. I place Eliza on the bed and sit down at the desk.

"Hmm? have you met Y/n?" I asked, she shook her head.

"Not," She said.

"Wow, you can say not?" I asked.

"Not," She giggled.

"Okay, I guess I can tell you about Y/n," I said, waiting for a response.

"Nana?" Eliza asked, clapping.

"What? Her name doesn't sound anything like a banana- Oh you want a banana?" I said, getting up.

"Nana!" She clapped her hands once more.

"Okay, come on let's get you a banana," I held my hand so she could grab it.

"Coming," She said, her bare feet making a "pitter patter noise"

I took Eliza downstairs to get her some bananas then we came back upstairs to my room.

"Now, about Y/n-" I said, Eliza blankly stared at me waiting for me to start.

"Y/n is- well Y/n has beautiful {your eye color) and {hair length and color}, she wears a light blue dress, like the color of my blouse. Her voice is like a melody, her lips are a soft shade of pink,  she's so nice," I said, turning to Eliza who was gnawing at a piece of banana.

"I think I fell for her, Eliza," I said, flopping on the bed next to her. She patted my leg with her tiny hand and cooed.

"Should I write back to her, Eliza?" I asked, Eliza nodded her head.

"Alright," I got up and went to the desk. I pulled out a piece of paper and dipped my quill in ink.

"My Dearest, Y/n

I wasn't expecting you to get my letter that quickly,

I'm glad that you are doing well,

my family is healthy and well thanks for asking.

I do miss our afternoon walks,

I miss you more than the afternoon walks though.

Sadly no, I don't know when I'm coming back.

Maybe in a month or so, I'm sorry I have to keep your surprise on hold.

I'm excited to see you again.

Love,

P. Hamilton"

I placed the letter on the desk for the ink to dry, Eliza clapped her hands, "Finish,"

"Did you finish your bananas?" I asked, taking the bowl from Eliza.

"Finish nanas!" She confirmed, clapping her hands.

"Good girl," I laughed, ruffling her hair.

I took the bowl downstairs and came back with an envelope to put my letter in. I folded up the letter, placed it in the envelope, and wrote Y/n's address on it. I placed it on my desk and turned to Eliza, who passed out on my bed. I carefully picked her up and placed her under the blanket, I grabbed a book off the shelf and sat next to the sleeping Eliza.

Until I fell asleep.
