"Pops! You will never believe what happened at Y/n's house!" I said, bursting into my father's office.
"What happened Philip?" He said, furiously writing with his quill.
"I asked out Y/n, on a date," I said, putting my arms behind my neck.
"Finally!" Angie said, walking into Dad's office.
"Finally what?" AJ said, walking in with Angie.
"Philip asked out Y/n," Dad said, taking off his glasses.
"Dang," AJ said, offering to do our handshake.
"Based on your reaction, she said, yes?" My Dad said, placing some papers into a folder.
"Yes, she did, I have to go get her at 7," I said, sitting down.
"Where are you taking her?" Dad asked.
"Um, well I haven't thought of that part," I scratched the back of my neck.
"Of course," Angie said, slapping her forehead.
Mom came into Dad's office with us to give him a plate of dinner, "Dinner's ready you three," She gave dad a kiss on his forehead.
"Thank you, my love," Dad said, moving the plate to his left.
"Sorry mom, I'm going on a date with Y/n tonight," I said, smiling nervously.
"Finally," My mom said, rushing behind me with a brush, "Where are you two going?"
"Um, I haven't figured it out yet," I said, mom hit me with the brush.
"Well, you can take her out to where me and your mom went for our first date," Dad said.
"Oh yeah, Delmonico's is great for dates," Mom said, putting my hair into a ponytail.
"Mom," I complained, as she took the gel from my dad's desk drawer.
"You have to look nice, this is your first date," Mom put a glob of gel in my hair.
"Fine," I said, standing up.
"Go put on your nice outfit, the one you wore on the boat," Mom said.
"Ugh," I said, walking into my room.
I changed into my "nice" suit and let my mom get ready, she did a whole bunch of adjustments to the way I looked. I feel like this was too much but my mom insisted on it. I looked on my pocket watch, 6:40 pm.
"Mom, I have to go now," I said, pulling away.
"Okay, okay, Have fun now," Mom said.
I stepped outside and made my way to Y/n's house.

"Is this okay, mom?" You asked, standing in front of Luci.
Luci looked up from her book, "Yeah, of course you do,"
"Okay," You said, fidgeting with your hands and pacing the room.
"Nervous?" Luci asked, looking up from her book once more.
"Yeah," You sat down next to her.
"You shouldn't be," Luci said, placing her book on her lap.
"Why?" You asked, making eye contact.
"Because a date is like the walks you and Philip go on just not in a friendly but in a romantic way," Luci said, brushing a piece of hair behind your ear.
"Hmm, really?" You asked.
"Mhm, He should be here any minute," Luci said, looking at the clock.

I stood on Y/n's doorstep, collecting myself, and knocking on the door.
Y/n opened the door, "Hey Philip!"
"Hey, Y/n you ready to go?"
"Yeah," She said, walking out the door next to me.
