{Philip's Pov}
Y/n and I took a carriage to Delmonico's.
"I've never been in a carriage before," Y/n said, looking around the carriage.
"Wait, really?" I asked.
"Yeah, I've only walked or been on a horse," Y/n blushed.
"Oh, that's alright, my family doesn't really use carriages either," I said, chuckling.
"Oh really, but you guys are rich though," She said, tilting her head in confusion.
"Yeah, I just walk anyway because it costs less money," I laughed.
"Oh, makes sense," Y/n said,
"Yeah, I think we're here now," I said, as the carriage stopped.
I stepped out of the carriage and helped Y/n out.
"Thank you," She said, looping her arm with mine.
"You're welcome," I smiled.
{Y/n Pov}
The date was like our afternoon walks but with dinner and not in the afternoon, we talked about ourselves, and joked around. It was fun, I liked the last part more though. We walked in the park, with only the moon lighting our way, we walked in a sort of comfortable silence. We stopped walking when we reached a rail guarding the shimmering lake below us.
"You know, Y/n," Philip started.
"Yes?" I said, moving my gaze from the lake to his eyes.
"I-I really like you, I don't if I have told you before but I know I've told other people my feelings for you," Philip said, his face a dark crimson.
"Well, I really like you too, Philip," I giggled, putting my hands on the rail.
"What? What's so funny?" Philip said, leaning on the rail to see my face.
"I could already tell you like me," I said.
"What? How?" He asked, hiding his face.
"The letters you sent me were so flirty, the way you blush every time you get a compliment from me, and you asked me out on a date," I said, slightly giggling.
"Okay, that's-" Philip said.
"True?" I laughed.
"Love, this is not funny," He hid his face, I'm guessing his face was so red.
"Yes it is," I giggled even more, "And did you just call me, Love?"
"Pfft, no," Philip smiled.
"Yes, you did," I laughed.
"No I didn't," Philip said, pulling me by my wrist.
"Oh, hello," I said, wrapping my arms around his neck.
