[Third Person POV]
Aurora and the others have just arrived at the shore line. Amethyst, Inu and Veruca were panting while Aurora smiles at their tired faces.
'Looks like Aurora was enjoying all the running.' Veruca thought while glaring at her.
Aurora puts her hands on her waist as she smells the fresh air around her. Amethyst straighten her back and gazed the vast ocean.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" Aurora said, without looking at Amethyst.
Amethyst turned her head to face her and looks away.
"Yeah." Amethyst nods and agrees to her words.
"Hmm" Veruca glares at Inu while wearing her mischivous smile, "Tag!!" Veruca shouted.
Inu was surprised because he was poked by Veruca.
"Grrr! Oh I'm gonna get you for this!" Inu pointed at her with determination on his face.
Veruca smirks confidently, "Catch me if you can!" Veruca protrude her tongue at him.
Inu narrows his eyes on her and growled. They both chasing each other's tails.
"Hey guys!" Amethyst yells.
"Let them be, they'll get tired soon." Aurora holds her shoulder and Amethyst giggles.
Meanwhile...
Inu and Veruca stops running. They look exhausted.
"I'm..tired..already.." Veruca said while laying down above the sand.
"Well, that's your price for running around." Amethyst snorted with her hands on her waist.
Aurora smiles while watching them.
[Aurora's POV]
Amethyst walks together with me, splashing the water with our feet. We watched the two playing around.
"I feel calm when you are at the beach. You feel the same way too?" I asked her.
Amethyst nods, "Yeah."
We looked at each other and smiled. Then, Veruca stares at me in awe. I jerked my head a bit and asked, "Veruca, why are staring at me like that?"
She didn't replied. I waved my hands at her face and asks again, "Veruca?"
She let out a long breathe and her eyes sparkled, "Your hair. It's very colorful, I like it."
"Oh really? Thank you." I bowed my head as I thanked her.
"Aurora, where did you get that rainbow-colored hair?" Veruca asked.
"Well, I get this from my aunt, cousin of my mother." I said while brushing my hair.
"Oh I see." Amethyst nods as she talks like an old man.
Veruca laughs while Inu and I chukled at her expression.
"Hey, how about we build a--" Amethyst was about to say something. Suddenly she cuts off because something hits her forehead really hard.
I gasped and so did Inu and Veruca.
"Ow.. Who threw that to me?! I am not a targeting post!!" Amethyst shouts loudly while rubbing her sore forehead.
"Amethyst, are you okay?" I asked her concernly.
"Yeah. It hurts!" Amethyst gets teary eyes because of the pain she felt.
I picked up the object and examine it, "It's a frisbee?"
"That thing hit me.. but who owns it?" Amethyst asks me in wonder.
I shrugged and looked for the name of the owner. I didn't see any name on the object, but I found the initials.
"M.L.?" I said to myself.
Then, something's moving ahead of us.
"A hound?!" I gasped.
We moved back a bit and took a defensive stance while Inu and Veruca were infront of us, protecting.
The hound stops on its tracks and growled violently.
"Easy, boy!" A voice commanded.
