On a high ravine, infront there was a vast sea where waves are clashing together. Aurora trained Veruca to fly on her own, trusting her own instincts.
Inu and Hakuro were watching Aurora riding on Veruca's back.
"Okay, Veruca. Just a little
more higher ." Aurora said with a gentle tone of voice,
Trying not to startled her.
Veruca was struggling on
flapping her wings and controlling the weight of a person.
She began to flapped
long and hard strokes until she reached the specific height above the ground.
"You did it, Veru! You both look so small from down here!" Inu shouted to them.
Aurora chuckles at Inu's statement.
She tilted her head to
looked at Veruca with a satisfied smile.
"Nicely done, Veruca."
Veruca side-glanced at her.
"Thanks Aurora! I can't do it without your help and... your lectures. Hehehe."
She let out a huffly laugh.
"Anytime. Now, to fly down:
you must take it slow and keep the equipoise as you landed safely to the ground. Got it?" Aurora spoke.
Veruca then nodded and follow her instructions. She flapped nice and slow. When a strong gust of wind hit them, Veruca lost her balance and started to flop around.
With shocked eyes, Inu gasps. "Veruca!"
Veruca grunted as she struggles to back on, to stablize her flight while Aurora was holding on Veruca's black mane.
"C-Control the wind." Aurora gruffs.
On the other hand, Veruca frowns in determination and
tries to flap her wings from what Aurora taught her awhile ago.
She then began to find her
equipoise and maintain her balance
and then flapped back and forth. As Veruca touches her hoaves on the ground, finally, they both landed, not getting injured.
"Veru! Aurora!" Inu spoke as he followed Hakuro behind.
Veruca breathes in and out rapidly. She looked down to see Aurora buried her face on her mane, still gripping on to it.
"Aurora?" Veruca asked with a hoarse voice.
"Veruca, are you alright? Are you injured or anything?" Inu questioned her with a panic tone of voice.
Veruca shook her head sideways. "I'm alright. But, I'm worried about Aurora. She didn't even flinch." She spoke, feeling a little worry.
Hakuro went towards Aurora, he whispered. "Milady?"
A moment of awkward silence, Aurora suddenly chuckles harder.
The three of them exchange glances as they raise their brows in confusion.
Soon, Aurora stops chuckling while removing the tears on the rims of her eyes.
"Phew! Oh, my stomach hurts from all that laughter. That was fun, Veruca. Let's do that again!" Aurora smiles enthusiastically.
Veruca shows a wry smile.
"N-No, thanks. I pretend that never happen." She sweatdropped.
Aurora whipped her gaze towards Hakuro. "Hakuro! Let's do that some time?" She spoke beamly.
"For you, Milady---I don't mind." Hakuro answered.
Veruca shouted slightly. "Could you atleast scold her?! It's dangerous, you know." She then frowns with squited eyes.
Hakuro raised a brow with an uninterested look on his face. "Huh?"
"Don't pretend that you don't know, Hakuro." Inu spoke with a flat look.
"Oh, right!" Aurora snapped her fingers. "I must get Hakuro's equipments from home."
