~: Next morning, 7:15 am :~
[Amethyst's POV]
I woke up and sat on my bed. I stretched my arms and yawned. I feel sleepy. (-_-)zzZ I got up and open the window. It was a beautiful morning, and the sun shines brightly to light the world. Veruca and Inu groaned because they were irritated of the sun's brightness.
"Rise and shine sleepy heads! Wake up!" I shouted.
They moaned because they got annoyed by my voice. I jumped up and down to wake them up. Hehehe XD
"Keep it down, Amethyst! We are still sleeping." Inu said feeling annoyed.
"Stop it! You're too loud!" Veruca said while covering her ears with a pillow.
I stop jumping around and my smile faded away 'cause they got mad. I think I disturb their sleep. "Fine, if you insist. I'll stop... Hmpf!" I said and gave them a pissed-off face (#=_=). "These guys are no fun at all. They ruined it." I thought to myself.
They hold their breath 'til they burst out and started to laugh harder.
"It is not funny, you know. Hmpf!" I said with my angry face.
"Alright, alright... we had enough." Inu said.
"Yeah but it was fun actually." Veruca said as she smiled at me and I smiled at her.
"Hey guys! Come down now! Breakfast is ready!" My mother exclaimed.
"Yes Mother. Coming!" I shouted as a reply. "Let's go guys." I told them and went out of my room, leaving the two.
"Good morning Mother." I greeted her.
"Morning, dear." my Mother greeted me and smiled.
"Where's Father?" I asked.
"He told me that he was going somewhere." my Mother answered.
"Oh. I see." I said with no more questions to ask.
Then, the two left the room and went to the dining room. Inu walked towards me and sat.
"Ugh... I'm hungryyyy~" Veruca said, walking to her plate lazily.
"Okay Veruca, I'll get your food." Mother said.
While everyone's busy what they are doing, I was just sat there and waited for the food to served. I feel someone is poked my leg and when I looked down, it was Inu.
"Hmm? What is it Inu?" I asked him with a concern in my voice.
"Umm. Can I eat some meat?" Inu said hungrily.
"Sure you can! Wait here." I said and smiled.
When I supposed to stand on my chair and grabbed some meat for him. Mother noticed him and smiled at me.
"My, my... it looks like you brought another one Amethyst." Mother said.
"Umm... well, I wanted to ask your permission to keep Inu here. I mean the nine-tailed fox, because he has no where to go and I was too tired last night. So, I didn't ask you. Yeah." As I tried to explained everything to mother and I think she understands.
"Oh well, you can keep him." Mother relented.
"Really? Wahoo!!" I smiled with happiness and hugged her mother. "Thank you Mother..." Amethyst cried.
"Shhh... Hush now. You're very welcome."
As mother kissed my forehead and smiled at me.
[Third person's POV]
As Amethyst continued to hug her mother, Inu interrupts...
"Sorry for the interruption, I think I know her." Inu stares deeply at Aphrodite then shocked. "Ahh! You're Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love and Beauty and her husband is Apollo, the God of Light and Prophecy!!!" Inu got moon-eyed as he saw the Goddess infront of him.
"Yeah." Amethyst said shyly.
"That's great! I didn't know you knew them already!! Why you didn't told me before?!" Inu exclaimed.
"Well... they are my parents actually and she was my mother..." Amethyst brushed her hair as she said those words.
And Inu faced her and gave her a perplexed face.
"If you were her mother..." Inu looked at Aphrodite then to Amethyst. "... and you are their..." he adds.
A pause.
"Their... Daughter?!" Inu was shocked. "So, that means... You are the Princess~!! You were the new born of the the Great God and Goddess." Inu suprised.
"Hey, calm down! Yeah, I'm the princess... and there's no need to shout in our house. Please calm yourself... geez." As Amethyst scolded Inu for shouting inside the house.
"Oops! Sorry. I got carried away. I apologize Your Highness..." as Inu bowed his head to apologized.
"It's fine and there's no need to say "Your Highness" to me. You can call me Mother." Aphrodite giggled.
"Really? Hehehe right." Inu said shyly. "So, Amethyst..." he said while looking at Amethyst.
"Hmm?" Amethyst replied.
"Can... can I call you "Master"? If you are okay with it." Inu blushed with embarrassment.
Amethyst blinked her eyes for what Inu said earlier. This is unexpected. Then smiled and accepted his offer.
"Sure! Why not." Amethyst giggled.
Inu was suprised of what he just heard.
"Really?" As Inu starting to tear up, nearly crying.
"Hey, why are you crying?" Veruca asked him worriedly.
"Veruca... he's not crying. That's what you call tears of joy." Amethyst smiled.
And they all laughed and Inu was very happy to call Amethyst his "Master".
"I will protect you no matter what, Master." Inu thought and smiled to Amethyst.
Four years have passed, Amethyst grown taller, wiser, and she become more . . . . . prettier. Her destiny awaits her in the future.
