Chapter 6: Surprise

Author Note: Ok first off, sorry it took long, I just wanted to add a few story bits in before the main part started because why the hell not

Many days pass with the occasional awkward silence but stops as they get themselves ready to board the cruiser to Beacon

They were really excited, and there was already a big line of people entering the cruiser "man, so many people are coming to Beacon today" Ace said as he looked in awe

"I know, Beacon is huge, they always give many students with the highest grades to attend that school remember?" Yang explained

"Yea that's true" once they entered, they looked around until they heard a melody of music, Yang was about head towards the sound when Ace stopped her and started whispering to her "We keep what happened at the motel between us and slowly forget it, deal?"

"Deal" she managed to say as she got embarrassed, then walked towards the sound and noticed Ruby and Lily in the cruiser "Ruby? Lily?"

"Oh, hello Ace, hello Yang" Lily greeted them politely

"Uh what are you two doing here?" Yang immediately asked the million dollar question to which Ruby answered, although hesitantly

"Oh, uh, heh, well.... Professor Ozpin saw us and wanted us to join his school" Ruby answered a little nervously, Ace was surprised when he heard this while Yang just ran towards their sisters hugging them tightly

"Oh my gosh I can't believe my little sisters are going to beacon with us, this is the best day ever!" Ace then walked towards his sisters and hugging all of them

"It really is, we get to be together as a family here at Beacon"

Lily chuckled a little "Guys, Ruby's embarrassed" then Yang got out of the group hug

"But I'm so proud of you sis, everyone here will think that you're the bees knees!"

Ruby only stayed silent at this, looking a little gloomy, then spoke "Look Yang, I just got moved ahead two years, i don't want people to think I'm special you know, but" she then hugged Ace which surprised the siblings "a friend I met told me that if things like this happen, I should always lean on someone's shoulder"

"Oh, are you talking about Kirito? The boy we met?" Lily asked to which Ruby nodded, Yang only smirked while Ace asked

"Who's Kirito?"

"A guy who helped us in trying to stop a robbery, he has two swords with one of them able to extend" Lily answered

Yang then realised something "Wait a robbery? We heard that on the news, the person's name was Roman Torchwick, why did you fight him?"

"We were at a store buying some books when someone from his gang threatened us, we fought back out of self defence" Lily answered

Ace then wiped the sweat off his forehead "I'm just glad you two are safe, especially you Ruby, I know how reckless you can get when fighting you know"

"I know brother"

"So... Ruby... Lily... is he hot?" Yang asked to which made the two in question go beet red

"Shut up Yang!!" They both said in Unison

As Yang repeatedly tried to get info on their new friend, the news was able to save them from that conversation "The robbery was lead by the criminal Roman Torchwick"

"who continues to evade authorities, if you have any information on his whereabouts, please contact local authorities immediately, back to you Lisa"

"Thank you Cyril, in other news this Saturday's Faunus civil rights protest turned dark, when members of the white fang disrupted the ceremony, the once peaceful organisation has now disrupted-" the news was then cut off to reveal a woman in a teacher like attire that appears in what looked like a hologram

"Hello and welcome to Beacon"

"Who's that?"

Lily was about to answer Yang's question when "My name is Glynda Goodwitch"

"Oh"

"You are among the privileged few who recieved the honour of being selected to attend this prestigious academy, our world is experiencing an incredible time of peace, and as future huntsmen and huntresses, it is your duty to uphold it. You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task, and now it is our turn to provide you with the knowledge and the training to protect our world"

She then disappears, and as soon as that happened, everyone in the cruiser took a look outside to see many of their old schools being flown over, including Signal Academy

"I guess home isn't too far after all" Ruby said, with a note of sadness in her words

Ace then puts an arm around her "Beacon's our home now Ruby"

A blonde boy with armour passes by, yet he looked a little sick, almost throwing up, Lily went up to the boy "You ok sir? Here" she then gave him some medicine and water to which he had immediately

"Oh thank you so much, I hate motion sickness"

"Understandable, but in time, you will get use to it"

"Yea that's what I heard, I'm Jaune, Jaune Arc"

"I'm Lily, Lily Xiao Long"

"Did you just copy my introduction?"

She then chuckled "Not really" and she then went back to her siblings only to see Yang chasing Ruby "what happened?"

"Yang has vomit on her shoe so she wants to use Ruby as a rag" Ace said as he laughed a little with Lily joining in on the laugh
