After everyone washed up and ate their breakfast with a girl with ginger hair constantly talking to a guy with black hair the entire time, they all went in the locker room gathering their weapons
Ace and Lily grabbed their weapons when BF walked up to them "Sup Ace, nice seeing you again man"
"Oh BF, good too see you again"
"You know him brother?" Lily asked
"Yea I do, I met him the day we landed, he's a good singer"
"Really!?" Lily's eyes shined as she heard this
"You bet miss!" BF smiled brightly
"Will all the new students please head to the cliff overlooking the Emerald Forest, thank you" Glynda's voice was projected on a few speakers
They were about to head off when Ace heard some type of rocket and a PWANG sound, he turned to see the blonde boy's hood stuck to the wall thanks to a spear "It was nice meeting you" the culprit said as she removed the spear, letting him fall to the ground
Ruby ran towards him and picked him up "I'll catch up with you Lily, gotta help my sister"
"Alright then brother"
"Here Ruby, let me help you"
"Thanks Ace"
"Oh, hey Ace, nice to officially meet you, I heard from Ruby that you two are siblings" Jaune greeted him although just a bit winded
"Yea we are, nice meeting you too Jaune, what happened to you by the way?"
"Jaune tried to flirt with ice Queen but got stuck on the wall"
"Where did I go wrong?"
"Hey it's all good Jaune, you tried at least, not many guys can do that"
"Oh come on, I bet you have a girlfriend or two" Ace stayed quiet for a few seconds yet answered
"Hehe, no I never had a girlfriend, but I'm fine with it"
"That's just how Ace is" Ruby added
Jaune was able to walk properly now as they make their way to the cliff
Once they joined up with the others, Ruby's eyes shined, they turned to where Ruby was looking to see Kirito waiting by Ozpin and Glynda
"KIIIIRIIIIIITOOOOOOOO!!!" Ruby flew passed the students with her speed as she ran to hug him, yet her speed was sliding them near the cliff, Ace was about to save them but Kirito was able to stop his tracks "You're here! You're here! You're here!"
Ace can tell Ruby was happy seeing him, this was the first time seeing Ruby so attached to someone so quickly
He couldn't hear their conversation, but Ruby suddenly ran right back to the group
"SORRY!" She then chuckled while a few students face palmed and others talked yet everyone quieted down as they got into their positionn
Yang smirked as she eyed Kirito closely "Ooh lala~ pretty boy here, I see why Ruby likes you"

Kirito was ignoring her to which Yang only had a devilish thought
"It's nice to see you again, Kirito" the girl Blake Belladonna greeted him in which he waved
'Since this man saved my sisters, it's best that I thank him' he then walked up to Kirito and spoke to him "My name is Ace Branwen, it's nice to meet you Kirito, thank you for saving my sisters from the battle against Torchwick" Ace said as he bowed
"It's nice to meet you too Ace, and I'm glad I was able to save someone from your family, makes it all the more worth in saving them" Kirito replied as he bowed, Ace then went back to his position, happy hearing Kirito being humble towards him
As they wait for a few seconds of silence, Ozpin began to speak
"For years you have trained to become warriors, and today your abilities will be emulated in the emerald forest" Ozpin finished with Glynda saying her piece
"Now I'm sure you have heard rumours about the assignments of teams, we'll allow us to put an end to your confusion, each of you will be given teammates, today" Glynda emphasises the word 'today' as they know what it will mean
"On no" Ruby quietly said
Then Kirito joined on the speech
"These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at beacon, so it's in your best interest to be paired with someone you may work with"
"Hoh" Ruby got even more worried about this
"That being said, the first person whom you make eye contact after landing will be your partner for the next four years"
"WHAT!?" Ruby's reality was shattered as she heard this
"See! I told you!" The same ginger girl who talked a lot said out loud
Then Ozpin took over "After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest, you will meet opposition along the way, be sure to destroy everything in your path, or you will die"
"Hehehe *gulp" Jaune was nervous as soon as he heard the word death
Ozpin continued "You will be ministered and graded for the duration of your initiation, but our instructors will not intervene, you will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics. Each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff, we will regard the item, as well as your standing, and grade you appropriately, are there any questions?'
Jaune then raised his hand "Yeah um- sir"
"Good! Now take your positions" Ozpin didn't even hear Jaune's question
Before Ace could hear any more, he was launched first into the Emerald Forest
'Gotta admit, Ozpin knows what to do with these initiations'
As Ace slowly descended, he grabbed himself a purple card, and threw it high in the air, with his semblance, he activated it creating a gravity pull which made him go up
With that, he was able to land safely on the ground while doing a roll to stop himself from getting hurt "Right, time to find a partner" and he runs off deeper into the dangers of the forest
