As everyone walked into the area, many people were already waiting for the speech to happen
"Hey! Ruby! Ace! We saved you a spot!" Yang was waving her hand High and shouting for their attention, they then went by their sisters side
"So how was your first day going sister?" Lily asked
"It's going ok, already made a friend named Jaune, the boy who vomited on Yang's shoe, yet I kind of accidentally exploded" Ruby answered
"Wait what? When did that happen?" Ace asked curiously
"Oh, I bumped into Weiss again on accident as I was exploring with Jaune and tripped over her cases"
"You see Ace!? She isn't fit to be in Beacon after exploding my dust!"
Ruby then ran behind Ace "AAAHHH! She's yelling at me again!"
"Oh my Oum, you really exploded" Yang just said nonchalantly
"Hey i dont know how this happened Schnee, but you're overreacting here, it's an accident and you're just escalating the situation" Ace said to her to which she just huffed, grabbed a parchment, giving it to Ruby and left
"You ok Ruby?" Lily asked
"Well i can count that Weiss is now a negative friend"
Just then, Glynda Goodwitch, Professor Ozpin and a boy in black came onto the stand, and both Ruby and Lily grabbed Ace and Yang's attention "Oh oh, that's him! That's Kirito!"
"That's the boy who helped us against Torchwick" Lily added
"So that's Kirito?" Yang then had that smirk which Ace face palmed
Just then Ozpin started to speak "Ahem, I'll. Keep this brief, first, you will have a new teacher next to me, his name is Kirito"
Many students, new and old started whispering to each other, Ace can tell that they don't agree with this, they even mentioned how young he looked "He may look young but he is highly trained, he has been through many tough experiences against the Grimm, and many people who are considered criminals, it is best that you all give him a chance" then the crowd went silent
"Now, you have traveled here today in search of knowledge, to hone your craft and learn new skills, and when you have finished; you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of its people, but i look amongst you and all i see is wasted energy. In need of purpose, direction, you assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove to you that knowledge will only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step" and with that, he walked off the stage with Glynda taking over
"You will gather in the ball tonight, tomorrow, your initiation begins, be ready, you're dismissed" and with that, Glynda and Kirito left the scene
"Ok that was weird, that speech of his looked like he wasn't there" Yang stated to which the three other siblings agreed
As everyone walked their way to the ballroom, people were discussing about many different things, but the main topic was about the new teacher Kirito
"Can't believe that guy who saved you turned out to be a teacher"
"Well, after our discussion with Professor Ozpin about us going to Beacon, Kirito was offered a job as a teacher here, back then he didn't decide yet, but I guess he made his decision" Lily explained, yet during this time, Ruby only blushed a little to which Yang noticed
"You have a crush on him or something Ruby?" Yang said as cheeky as possible
"I do, but he's already with someone, but can you blame me?" Ruby answered although a bit hesitant
"Nope, I can't since I can see why" ______________________________________________________________________________________
As everyone gathers in the ballroom, everyone had their own sleeping bags, and many of them got themselves ready to sleep in their own pajamas
Ace sung his lullaby to Ruby as she slowly went to sleep with the other girls joining
Once he looked at his siblings sleeping, him singing while watching his siblings reminded him of what happened to him and Class Zero, he shed a few bit of tears as he got up from his own sleeping bag, went to a quiet area and started writing on his Journal, a journal about all of the events that happened during his time in Orience, so that he will never forget the memories of his own world
"What are you writing there?" Ace turned to see a girl wearing a black sleeping robe and wore a bow on her head

'Better lie about my Journal' "I'm writing a fanfiction in a way of a diary"
"Oh really? Mind if I read a bit of it?"
"Sure, go ahead" she then started looking through different pages until she saw something interesting
"What's Tempus Finis?" She asked curiously
"Think of it like this, imagine that it's the end of the world, that's what it is in my story, what do you think?"
"I like it, it describes a very telling story about a war between three different nations and that a group called Class Zero was the turning point to ending the war" she then gave the book back to him "I'm Blake Belladonna, what's your name?"
"I'm Ace Branwen, nice to meet you Blake" he then looked at the time "Man I better go to sleep, need to get ready for tomorrow"
"I understand, but I have a question" Ace turned towards Blake "That Lullaby you sang to that girl, what is it called?"
Ace answered, although a bit hesitant "It's a song my mother created, it's called Zero, there are more lyrics but that's the only part I know"
"I love that lullaby, it's nice" they then went their separate ways going to their beds and went to sleep
