Semblance is the manifestation of one's innate and personal power as an ability unique to each individual, with the effects varying greatly from user to user, in summary, you can have your own unique superpower
The Grimm however, Ace shuddered at the sight and thought of them as the news was played about another attack "Breaking news, another attack has been sited as a small village near the town of vale has been destroyed, and many civilians have been killed by the Creatures of Grimm, not many people survived but to those that do, I hope you will all find salvation"
The Creatures of Grimm are described as "creatures of destruction" that lack a soul, they can even gather to a point if one person is filled with strong negative emotions

As soon as Ace grows up, he vows to eradicate the Grimm as best he can, which is why he will become a huntsmen like his mother and father
"Why do you want to leave us Raven!? The tribe isn't your family!" Ace heard this, and he quickly watched what was happening between his parents
"I can't live two lives at once Taiyang, I can't be a mother and a tribe leader at the same time"
"So why would you choose the tribe over us!?"
"They're my true family Tai, I hope you will understand" once she finished her statement, she used her sword to create a portal and walked through it, once it closed, Tai was on his knees crying, heartbroken, Ace walked up to his father, comforting him, he turned seeing his son by his leg and hugged him
"Don't worry Ace, I'll be ok in time, I'll take care of you and your sister however I can" he says as he picked him up and brought him to both he and his sisters room ______________________________________________________________________________________
A month passes when Yang was able to talk as well, and Tai took care of both of them, things were a little peaceful until a knock came to his door, Tai went and opened it to reveal one of his old team Leader of STRQ (it pronounces Stark, as in Stark White or something I don't know, I searched it up) Summer Rose "Hi tai, it's been awhile"

"Summer? What are you doing here?"
"I heard about what happened between you and Raven, I'm sorry that you had gone through that, as a leader of STRQ, it's my responsibility"
Tai then puts his hand on her shoulder "It's ok Summer, it's in the past now, I'm just happy that my children didn't get to be raised by the bandits"
"I understand, I just.... We never knew that Raven and Qrow was part of that group, what do we do?"
"I'll keep my sister occupied" Ace, Tai and Summer turned to see Qrow Branwen appear in the house

Both Summer and Tai prepared themselves for a fight but Qrow quickly explained "I understand that you don't trust me, I will earn that, but I don't want anything to do with the tribe anymore, after what they put me through, I realised I should leave that family, give me a chance and I promise to change my ways"
Tai still kept his fists up while Summer puts her weapon away "Fine then Qrow, then you better start with taking care of the kids" Qrow turned to see his niece and nephew which was Yang and Ace, they both slowly walk up to him to which he picked both of them up
"Despite my semblance, I'll do what I can to take care of them, what are you two going to do?"
"We will notify Professor Ozpin about this, it will take a few days to get to Beacon"
"Understandable, take care leader" Qrow waved goodbye to Tai and Summer as he closes the door, taking care of Yang and Ace, he looks at both their faces "Heh, just like your mom Yang, and you have a determination similar to Tai Ace"
