Kisa reached for a handful of pork rinds from Kai's snack bag, eliciting a scowl from him. With an innocent expression, she defended herself by saying, "What? You offered."

"I said in the singular, as in just one, not for you to eat everything." Kai retorted, returning his gaze to the package. Disappointed by the few pork rinds left, the siphoner pulled them to his chest, guarding them from his Demon's hungry gaze.

Seeing Kai's covetous glance, Kisa playfully teased him, "You do know your blood is very appetizing, right? Don't tempt me." Kai smirked in response, "I knew one day you'd fall for my charms, they all do" winking playfully at her, the vampire couldn't help the laughter that erupted from her lips.

"You're delusional, darling"

"Don't worry, I won't tell Amara you've been lusting over me" Kai continued teasing, making her roll her eyes playfully "Here, a consolation prize since you can't have me" He then pulled out a handful of items from his pocket, discarding each one with a muttered "nope" until he finally found what he was looking for. Kai presented Kisa with a chocolate bar, and she eagerly snatched it from him.

While she savored the chocolate, Kai asked her, "Do you want to tell me who I have to kill?" Kisa paused, considering her response. Finally, she replied, "The guy from last night. He was experimented on. I'm sure it was the dread doctors."

Kai fell silent for a moment, letting the gravity of Kisa's words sink in, his eyes darkened like the dark, unexplored waters of the ocean "The ones that experimented on you, right? At Eichen House?" Kisa nodded in confirmation, adding with a smirk, "They're obsessed. I mean, comprehensible, who wouldn't be?"

Kai chuckled at Kisa's comment and walked over to his secret drawer filled with snacks and sweets. He beckoned Kisa over and offered her another chocolate. She sped over to him, taking the proffered treat. The sight of Kisa enjoying her snack brought a memory to Kai's mind.

"Does it hurt, angel?" It had been one of those days, when his body protested with each breath he took after a long beating from his father. His eyes widened when he saw the vampire on his window, trying to sit up quickly, only for him to groan in pain and cough, blood spitting from his mouth.

"I need you to perform a spell so I can come in" Kisa had told him calmly, but her eyes told other story, there was a storm brewing on it, it was raging.

"I-I don't have magic" he had exhausted his stolen magic trying to heal himself, he couldn't even lit up a candle at that state, so pathetic. His eyes watered.
