Star Shopping // Lil Peej

Those weeks that Peej was in Florida flew by, and now all of us were packing to go to Georgia.

Baylen had booked a hotel room in Georgia that me, him, and Kyle would be staying at, since Peej had his own house.

I had told baylen about the realization of me falling in love with Peej. And he was excited.

"You almost ready?" Baylen asks as he walks into my room.

"Yeah." I smile.

"I'm gonna be the best wingman." He grins.

"Hey Baylen?" I ask.

"Yeah?" He asks.

"Just..don't push it please?" I ask. "I don't wanna loose him."

"I promise I won't." He smiles.

We all put our stuff in Baylen's car, and get in.

Once again, Baylen was driving, Kyle in the passenger, and me and Peej side by side in the back seat.

It was a seven hour drive, so we'd get there at about one in the morning.

Once again, I feel Peej put his arm around my shoulder, making my face redden.

I take out my airpods, and give one to Peej, and turn on some Lil Peep.

Peej and I didn't talk much during the car ride, but we both just enjoyed and took in each others presence.

I was still getting used to the realization of my love for Peej. I was slightly upset that I would never see Peej the way I used to again.

3rd person POV

Though Evelyn was still adjusting, Peej was falling more and more in love with her every day.

He thought she was the most beautiful, sweet, funny, caring girl to ever see this planet. He truly did love her more than himself, and he was okay with that.

All he wanted was her. But he had no idea that she wanted him too.

The only person that knew they loved each other was Baylen. Baylen knew they were both in love with one another, but he wasn't gonna say anything. He knew they would find love in each other.

Kyle knew that Evelyn loved Peej, but he didn't know Peej loved her back.

Peej didn't understand how he didn't realize he was in love with her sooner.

Eventually, the group gets to a gas station to fill up the car.

Kyle and Evelyn go inside to get snacks, while Peej and Baylen stand outside as Baylen pumps gas into the car.

"She's so perfect Baylen." Peej sighs.

"Peej if you don't ask her out I swear to god." Baylen laughs. "Just on a date or something!"

"I'm too scared!" Peej laughs.

"Fear does not exist in this dojo." Baylen quotes.

"Baylen, even the smallest hint could ruin us." Peej sighs.

"Tell me about her." Baylen says.

"What do you mean?" Peej asks.

"Tell me what you think about her." Baylen shrugs.

"I think she's the most perfect, caring, sweet, gorgeous person in the universe." Peej says. "I love her so much Baylen. It's like when i'm around her I only want her to be safe, and honestly I get so jealous when any guy not in our friend group talks to her, it's not good."

"How much would you risk for her?" Baylen asks.

"Everything." Peej replies.

"So you would risk your guy's friendship if it meant she could be your girlfriend?" Baylen asks.

"It's not that I just want her to be my girlfriend Baylen." Peej says. "It's that the label "friends" will never truly express my love for her, and I just want her to myself."

Evelyn POV

"He's so perfect Kyle." I sigh as we walk around the grocery store.

"Yeah yeah whatever." Kyle laughs. "Tell him, not me!"

"That'll ruin us!" I laugh.

"Are you actually that oblivious? It's so obvious that Peej is madly in love with you too." Kyle laughs.

"No he's not." I laugh.

"Yes he is, it's obvious." Kyle says.

We get snacks and go back out to the car, and all get in.

I rest my head on Peej's shoulder as I connect my phone to the speakers, and play Lil Peep as we drive through the dark streets, illuminated by other cars.

Over the next hour or so, Peej and I slowly adjusted until he had his back against the door, and I was laying down pretty much directly on top of him with my head on his chest, and his arms around me.

"And y'all say you aren't dating." Baylen teases as he looks at us.

"Shut up." Peej laughs.

We were gonna drop Peej off at his house first, then the rest of us will go to the hotel.

Eventually I fall asleep, and Peej does too shortly after.

time skip

"Starry." Peej whispers softly. "Starry, I need to get up."

"Huh?" I ask as I rub my eyes awake.

"We're almost at my house." He says.

"Okay." I say tiredly as I sit up.

We pull up to Peej's house, and he gets out.

"We'll see you tomorrow?" Baylen asks.

"For sure." Peej smiles. "Bye Ev."

"Bye Peej." I smile.
