Baylen Levine's best friend, Evelyn Summers, a girl who loves her friends more than anything, falls for one of them.
We were at the beach, the same beach where I asked Evelyn to be my girlfriend.
Evelyn and I were sitting side by side on the sand, while Baylen, Kyle, Noah, and Sebas were playing in the water.
She was looking at the guys laughing as them throwing each other into the water; but I wasn't looking at them, I was looking at her.
She was the only person that caught my eye. Her laugh and her smile was so amazing to look at and listen to.
Everything about her was perfect, there wasn't a single flaw.
"What?" She laughs as she looks at me.
"Nothing." I smile.
"What?" She giggles.
"This conversation is reminding me a lot like the day we got together." I laugh. "And my answer stays the same."
"Shut up." She laughs as her face reddens.
"You still blush just as much." I smile as I put my hand on the side of her face.
"I hate it." She laughs.
"I don't." I say.
"I know." She smiles.

Evelyn really was, and always has been, my perfect girl.
She moved closer to me, and pressed herself against my side with her head on my shoulder.
"Hi baby." I smile.
"Hi." She smiles.
"You're so cute." I smile.
"I hate you." She laughs.
"You love me." I laugh
"Yeah, you're right." She says. "Hey Peej?"
"Yeah?" I ask.
"You're...happy with our relationship...right?" She asks.
"Why wouldn't I be?" I ask.
Evelyn had always been a big over-thinker, but even the smallest bit of reassurance meant the world to her.
"I don't know I just-" She starts.
"Evelyn, listen to me okay?" I ask as she goes quiet. "I love you more than everything and everyone, you're the only person I want. If I ever suddenly wasn't happy with you, even though that will never happen, I would tell you."
