Mineta oneshot book Two

Love a little too late

Plot- Growing up mineta always thought he wanted to be a hero for all might since that was favorite until he met deku and he decided that he wanted to be a hero with deku and probably be together with him like husband and wife. So what happens when mineta hears his classmates saying he shouldn't be hero, so mineta joins a military to be hero for the country and only then deku figured out that mineta likes him and deku falls for him but he didn't get his chance.

     Today was the day mineta entered UA high for his crush Izuku Midoriya. Mineta really wants to impress deku by becoming a hero and probably be his boyfriend. When mineta entered in the class everyone introduce themselves. He made friend named denki kaminari and he's a cool guy. So it's been three weeks since mineta came in the school and he leaves love notes for deku and stuff and also the class doesn't really talk to him at all. One day he was walking to his dorm when he heard the class.
     Mineta walked to go say hi until he heard, "guys, don't you think mineta is a little different to be a hero?" Denki said, "yeah he's a little weird you know." Deku said agreeing, "yeah can you believe someone like him is trying to be hero with a quirk like that, fat chance." Mina said smiling. The class laughed at the thought as the kept talking. Mineta stood there with tears in his eyes as he left for his dorm. Once mineta entered he sit down and thought other ways her could be a hero.
     "Maybe I cam join the military and be a hero for the country, I had good training." Mineta said to himself and thought about it for moment before packing up his stuff. Mineta didn't want anyone knowing what he was gonna do so he told nezu not say where he was going. Nezu agreed and mineta left that same evening to the military. When he arrives he was first trained to see if he was qualified which he was. Three weeks later mineta was already a solider.
     When the class found out mineta had left the school they assumed that he just didn't want be a hero anymore. Deku on the other hand noticed that the love notes stopped appearung after mineta left. It took deku two months to realize that mineta liked him and he was the one sending the letters. Deku couldn't lie he was actually kinda sad but he couldn't do anything mineta had already gone and he didn't know where. The class felt incomplete without mineta and it was kind sad to see.
     Back with mineta, trained hard and long and made it to sergeant in two years time. During those two years deku had fallen in love with mineta even tho he wasn't in the class anymore and the class soon realized that mineta heard what they said. He left because of what they said. The class felt like assholes but it was all gonna change. In the military a upcoming war has been approaching and fast with a villainous military. Mineta stood Infront of his team as the went down on a plan.
     "Okay guys I have gotten a little detail that their sending in three waves the first will be easy but the last one we won't be safe here and we might need reinforcement so I say we collect some help from the heroes because of the the whole west coast of Japan will be a warzone." Mineta said showing it on the maps. "Okay, Sergeant mineta is right so mineta I heard you went UA, can you talk to them into letting us clear that part Japan to get ready, you can go with jade and gab with you." The commander asked.
     "Of course, we have about three weeks to get ready so I will head over at UA close to sun down commander so we'll be able to have everything." Mineta said, "alright jade and gab you will accompany mineta." Commander said the two saluted as they ended the meeting and went to sleep. Mineta knew what he was going to face when he arrived but this was for his country so at close to sundown mineta, jade and gab headed to UA high.

Mineta Pov
     When we arrived it seems liked the students we training. Our truck drove into the parking lot as we stepped out. I walked in front of jade and gab as we entered the building. The kids saluted to us but I froze when I heard familiar voices. "MINETA, is that really you?" Denki asked as I turned to him and the class. I heard gasps as they came to hug me and stepped back. "Sorry no time for chit chat we have important business." I said leaving them and heading to the principal office.
    I explained to him and he stood up, "can all student and teachers and pro heroes head to the training grounds."nezu said as we followed him out. When we arrived he stood on the stage and spoke, "the military is asking for us as heroes and heroes in training to clear the citizens for this coast as this part will become a war zone and they'll need our help when they call us, leading this operation is mineta minrou when they arrive you will do as he say now pros get the citizens out from here heroes in training listen to mineta as he speaks." Nezu said as the pros left.
     "The name is Sergeant mineta minrou, in three weeks this place will be a war zone, so I need you people to be focus, jade call the commander and tell him to send in the everything."I said and jade nodded and left. "I will be responsible for wear you stand and you will be during this attack so I need no obligations, all of you here are third years so be prepared any questions." I said, "yeah what will you use, don't you have a quirk." Kirishima asked, "no I will e using my guns and army, if need I will use my quirk." I said.
    The question kept coming and answered all and after it was done the trucks started to arrive, I took myself to my tent as deku enter after me. I still loved him, "mineta I knew you were the one to send those letters and I love you too." He said and my eyes widen and I turned to him. "Wait really!!" I said trying to calm myself from blushing as he came closer and kissed me. "Really and to make it up after all of this is done wanna be my boyfriend and become heroes together like you always wanted." Deku asked.
     "Yes yes.." I said hugging him as we both smiled he kissed me again and I kissed back before he left. I looked down, I really do hope I survive this to make that come true. As the three weeks go by, we trained and fixed up the place for battle, everything is supposed to be perfect and I made sure if it. I bonded with some of my class and even Mr.Aziawa. me and deku chatted during the night and stuff as I worked on my plans. Me and the commander and other sergeants worked on a plan for the waves.
    Once the three weeks were up the first wave began, I looked up as the sun went down, "alright soldiers ready your guns and heroes ready your quirks."The commander said as we went in as the first wave began. It was quite easy, a few bruises but no deaths yet. The next the wave was a little hard they started sending in people with quirks and bomb were being blown. But still no deaths but a lot of broken bones. Before the might was over I took a hold of my class and looked at them.
   "This is the last waves and it will be hard so please do your best because we don't if any of us here are gonna come back alive after this."I said to them as they nodded we agreed that we'd be alive together and I smiled as I stayed awake. I at night fell the last wave started it wasn't even into the next day. I grabbed my gun as we started firing. I took a few people who had quirks as the heroes stayed above ground. "MINETA, AMBUSH WE NEED YOU HERE NOW!!" I heard jade yell and I look back the heroes and smiled.
     I took a few guns and entered as we fired, "SHIT!!" I go shot on my leg. "I think we won." The commander said as we smiled and heroes came down. But I caught something at the corner of my eye a man aiming at deku. No no no, not gonna let that happen, I got up with every strength and took out my gun. As the man fired the bullet I went pushed deku taking the bullet in my chest but getting a headshot on the gu killing him. "ARGH!!!" I screamed in pain as deku held me.
    "No no no no mineta please why did you do that please." Deku cried, "you couldn't get shot you need to a hero, I guess this is my last." I said as I coughed, "no, I haven't seen you in two years, I just go my chance please you can't do this." Deku pleaded and I smiled and I closed my eyes with my last breath I died, "MINETAAAAA!!!" was the last I heard before dying on deku's chest.
