Silence, a suffocating silence falls in the room at Jin's revelation.

Taehyung suddenly felt his heartbeat quicken, so fast he couldn't breathe anymore, his head spinning and his hands shaking.

Namjoon and Jin jump up to calm taehyung but Jungkook beats them. he wrapped his arms around his boss, hugged him tenderly, whispering reassuring words to him.

"Calm down baby, I'm here, breathe, hey look at me baby, look at me and breathe okay?" he repeated it over and over again before sealing their lips together and within seconds he felt him relax into his embrace.

The two older ones just watching how easily Jungkook managed to calm down Taehyung.

Taehuyng meanwhile tightening his embrace let an almost inaudible "thank you" escape. Jungkook's only answer came to put a tender kiss on his head before turning to Namjoon.

"Who is Lin? why are we in danger? tell me why taehyung is panicking!" he asks them in a trembling voice without ever letting go of his boss.

Flashback

4 years ago...

"Happy birthday Mr Kim" a soft voice uttered pulling taehyung from his computer. Raising his head he sees his assistant Lin entering with a cake in one hand and a bag in the other.

With a slight smile, he motioned for her to come forward. "Thanks Lin but you really didn't have to do that." he tells her a little uncomfortably while she put the cake in front of him.

"Nonsense, your birthday must be celebrated as it should be" she replies with a big smile. Approaching him, she almost landed between taehyung's legs on his desk.

Crossing her long legs a little too explicitly, she put one of her hands flat on the desk for support and shook her head slightly clicking her tongue over her teeth. "for you" she said simply handing him the bag she still had in her hand.

"That's nice of you but could you please sit somewhere else" he asked her, opening the bag and discovering with surprise a small red box that he took out without even looking at it.

When he opened the box, he was surprised by the young woman coming to sit on him, straddling him. He didn't have time to push her away when she put her lips to his.

he tried to push her away but she tightened her arms around his neck. "don't push me away love, I love you so much, we're going to be so happy together" she told him covering his face with a kiss.

"What?! no! move!" he growls at the young woman now pushing her completely off him with a little too much force that knocks her to the floor.

he got up and threw the box in his direction letting out two diamond rings that must have cost a fortune and a used bullet "WTF" He said seeing the objects on the floor.

Lin suddenly laughed, not her usual happy laugh, a really creepy laugh. still on the ground she looks up at taehyung "love, I'm not asking your opinion, you're mine either you like it or not" she says to him with determination.

"Of course and we get married, we have lots of children and we live happily ever after" he told her sarcastically crossing his arms over his chest with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh love, I wouldn't be showing off if I were you" clutching the bullet with her fingertips she tossed it in his direction and he caught it effortlessly. "You know what it is" she asks him, her creepy smile widening on her lips.

"Do I look like stupid"he just answer shrugging his shoulder not giving her any reaction.

"Far be it from me to insinuate that my futur husband is stupid, but do you know where this bullet was before landing in your hands" she asked him then. "Futur what now? you're crazy oh my god!" he tells her not minding her words.
