Libra and Aries were dumbfounded, they stared mouth opened at Capricorn, who was getting uncomfortable.
"So. . ." Libra trailed off, looking at the island were Capricorn had pointed. "How do we" he pointed at himself and Aries. "Gonna get inside?"
"That's a good question, considering the fact that we can't even see the so called temple" Aries crossed her arms.
"Just ride the boat to the island first" Capricorn grunted. He hated the fact that they made him talk too much by asking too many questions.
Aries was the first to get down, her boots landing in the soaked sand of the shore, Capricorn was next and Libra made sure he had everything before getting out.
"What now chief?" Aries lilted Capricorn who groaned.
"Stop asking me questions"
"But you're the only one who can see the temple" Libra halted, waiting for him to say anything regarding where the temple stood.
The place was really dark and Aries and Libra could barely see anything.
Capricorn led then to the huge door of the temple that ran from the roof to the ground. "I don't know what might happen so stay close" He breathed, taking hold of Aries's hand.
The female flinched at first but calmed down when she understood his intention, she held Libra's hand so they wouldn't separate, nodding that they were ready.
Capricorn pushed opened the door and a force of light beamed from the tiny fraction he had open.
"If I couldn't create fire at will, I wouldn't believe my eyes right now" Aries remarked, slipping through the portion.
The three stood gaping at the huge hall in from of them divided by shelves which very as high as a mountain.
The shelves held whatever knowledge one could be looking for. The temple was brightly illuminated, so bright you couldn't tell it was night time.
Libra was busy gasping at everything his eyes could see when the watch started beeping, revealing the location of the sapphire.
"Wait, shouldn't there be a spirit guardian?" Libra paused, looking up at Aries was about to touch a scroll.
"There is" A calm voice sneered. The place immediately went dark and when the lights came back on, Aries, Libra and Capricorn were all locked up in a small room without a door and everywhere was all white.
"Did you really think you could come here and steal the sapphire of Libra?" The voice chuckled, out of nowhere a young girl dressed in a white robe appeared. "Mortals never change"
"A female guardian, sweet!" Aries smiled, wiggling her fingers to loosen the grip from the tight chain around her wrist.
"You think I'm. . .sweet?" The guardian question.
"Guardian lady" Libra called for her attention. "I am in fact the Libra"
She took her attention off Aries to him. "Don't you think I know? Just cause you're the Libra doesn't mean you can take the gem"
"Pardon me, but its his gem not yours" Capricorn retorted, trying to get comfortable.
"Great! the first one said I'm sweet the other one thinks I'm dumb and this one called me a thief" the guardian scoffed, folding her arms.
"For a guardian as old as time you seem really childish" Libra put out.
"I'm tired of this" Aries jeered, trying to create a fire explosion but failed. "What the fuck? What did you do?"
"Tsk, tsk, tsk, poor creature" The guardian smiled, lifting Aries's chin. "In this temple all powers are seized, so the nothing gets ruined"
"Just give us the gem and we'll be on our way" Libra tried negotiating but she shrugged it off.
"Unless he apologize for calling me a thief" the guardian pointed at Capricorn who wore a vague expression. "That's exactly that your words mean" she crossed her arms.
"No" Capricorn jeered. "Not apologizing for what I didn't say"
"Bro just do it" Aries urged through gritted teeth. Violently pulling her chain, but the more she pulled the tighter it got. "My hands are turning pale"
"Fine, I'm sorry for calling you a thief. . .Ms?" Capricorn heaved a heavy sigh.
Libra finally let out the breath he was holding, his lips curved into a small smile.
The place went dark again and this time when the lights came on, they were in a room filled with gem of different sizes, shapes and colors.
"I know exactly why you need the gem, and I also knew you were coming" The guardian picked up the sapphire, handing it to Libra. "Its my part to help the realms by protecting it from deceitful people"
Libra shoved the gem into the trace proof satchel Corvus gave to him, thanking the guardian.
The guardian knew if the realm goes back in order, her temple would be free to people again and she wanted that, she loved the company of people and giving them knowledge.
Libra pictured the living area of their hideout and created a portal that would take them home.
"Bye guardian" Aries waved.
"Wait" The guardian halted them. "Be careful for one of the zodiacs got under the control of Vela and might betray you"
