Lost Worlds (a zodiac story)

Fragile heart

  Gemini and Scorpio had their backs pinned on the wall, their breath hitching in their aching throat.

It hasn't been long and Ophiuchus's ghost like army swan the entire kingdom, spreading to other parts of the realms.

The duo were hiding from a bunch of armies marching their way.

"How are we gon. . .AHHH."

Gemini quickly covered Scorpios mouth, preventing her from screaming. "Quiet, its me," he shushed her.

The female calmed down, taking deep breaths to calm her racing heart. Her eyes scanned Gemini, who had shape shifted into one of the army that walked past them. "You gotta at least give me a warning," Scorpio glared at Gemini, who grinned, shrugging his shoulder.

"Stop grinning, there's nothing to be happy about," Scorpio said with a scowl on her face as Gemini pulled her out of the conner they were hiding.

"You kissed me, that one thing."

"I did it to betray you, dumbass."

"A kiss is a kiss."

"I hate you."

"Wait!"

Ophiuchus paused, waiting for Virgo to say what's on her mind, he turned to the bemused girl. "What is it, sweetie?"

"Ew, you sound like a pedophile,"

"Shut up Cancer, I'm only seven years older," Ophiuchus shot back at him, glaring daggers at the less concerned boy.

"Oh my gosh, are you trying to hit on Virgo?" Leo gasped, slowing turning to Ophiuchus, who looked like he could explode at any moment.

"No, that's not the point. Just shut up and tell me what you wanted to say, I have something to do."

"Like having a better haircut?"

"Sagittarius be quiet," Ophiuchus rubbed his temples, moaning out of displeasure. "There is nothing wrong with my haircut."

"Oops, someone is delulu," Aquarius cooed.

"Silence before I break your bone with just my thought."

"Then do it old man."

"Pisces don't tempt him," Libra grabbed the latter's arm, pulling him back.

"Why do people always laugh at me?"

"Lol, sucks to be you," Aries chuckled at Ophiuchus's sentence.

"I'm going to change that, they'll see I'm not that worthless Ophiuchus I used to be, I'll claim the realms for myself and my father will finally appreciate my existence."

"That's cool, but dead people don't know what's happening," Taurus crossed her arms, giving him is disgusted look.

Ophiuchus scoffed. "He's not dead."

"Okay, who is actually dead in this family?" Sagittarius grunted.

"My mom," Ophiuchus turned away from them, his voice getting soft. "She was the only one who believed in me, she said I could accomplish anything with my great mind."

"Aww, mommy's boy gonna cry."

"Shut up Cancer or I'll make you suffer."

"He's gonna die anyways, it doesn't matter," Capricorn muttered, sitting in the conner all by himself.

"She won't see me win."

Ophiuchus stormed off, aggressive shutting the door behind him, causing dust to fall from the top.

He hated his siblings and dad since he was a child, because he felt weak and unskilled. His elder sister could summon any weapon, his twin brother was skill with martial arts and excellent with clues.

And then there was him, the one who had nothing,  he had to work hard for anything meanwhile they had it served to them.

Nature's favourites.

His dad didn't make it easier for him, always pushing him to his limits, passing out due to excess training.

At least he had his mom, that he always found comfort in.

But she passed away, leaving him alone. His father didn't give him time to grief as he resumed his training immediately. But it still wasn't enough to please him.

Mocked by his siblings, pushed by his father, Ophiuchus was at rock button until he figured out about the Titans and how the holder of the gemstone controlled them.

Father would finally be proud.

But when his father found out about his plan, he was enraged and scolded him about the harmony the realms had achieved under their own rule and should be left alone.

That was when the gems where scattered everywhere to keep him away from them.

It was time for the king to retire, leaving Vela in charge. And that was the perfect time to end his stupid life for ruining his childhood.

Unfortunately, Ophiuchus was caught and that's when he forged his own death, as a means to escape the castle.

Their father decided that he wanted to explore the realms undercover.

Everything was okay, right?
