Most people would achieve a goal they wanted to complete at some point in their lives. That was how Isabella felt when Aiden agreed to her offer to make his final days memorable.
Isabella was happy that Aiden was okay from the scare, but she was still trying to cope. Aiden would stay in the hospital for the foreseeable future. Nicole and Isabella stayed for a couple of hours until they needed to go home. They said their goodbyes to Aiden and left the hospital, going back to Nicole's house.
It was hard for her to stay in his room while he wasn't around. They were usually never apart when it came to visiting each other's houses; now she was going to feel alone not having him there with her.
She promised him she would visit him soon so she could start on his bucket list.

It had been a few days since Aiden started staying at the hospital. Isabella visited him during those days to spend as much time together as possible. Isabella knew Aiden was heartbroken that he wouldn't be able to go back to his house again and had to remain in a crummy hospital room.
The first step for Isabella was decorating Aiden's hospital room. She grabbed everything Aiden had in his possession, including his band posters, knick-knacks, art canvases, and art supplies. Anything he had in his bedroom at home was moved to Aiden's new room.
She wanted him to be as comfortable as possible and make him feel like he was back at home.
On the days when Isabella would come to visit and find Aiden asleep, she had the chance to get through his bucket list, and so far, everything was going perfectly. She wrote a list of what she needed for the two things Aiden wished to do since she hadn't figured out his third one yet.
She told Nicole what she was planning to do, and Nicole was awestruck by the idea, so she offered to help Isabella buy all the supplies she needed to make this work. In the end, they bought a good amount of anything and everything they could think of.
Isabella sorted through the supplies she would need for Aiden's first wish. Even though she was concentrating on this, she thought about her parents for a while. Her father called her the night before and asked if she would come back to their house. Isabella said she would return eventually. She wanted to go back, but every time she thought about that house, all the painful memories would get triggered in her mind.
She did not want to think about that right now.
She grabbed her purse, throwing a small box in a zipper compartment to keep it safe.
This is going to be a good day, Isabella thought, smiling.
She took the bag and slid it over her shoulder on her way to the hospital.
