My phone ringed seeing it was kali school. I answered it "hi this the nurse im calling cause kali is running a fever"

"Okay do I need to come get her?" I got down from the counter "yes"

"Im on my way" I went to get her "im leaving jay kali sick so ima go get her"

"Take this bug" I held her in my arms trying to give her medicine "No mommy"

"Please it will make you feel better" I felt her head I been fighting with her for like ten minutes

"Okay then im not taking you to buy toys anymore" she took the medicine out my hand drinking it . I gave her a juice right after

She dont play about her toy shopping sprees

I got my phone going to FaceTime giving her my phone. I needed to get her a ipad "hello" I heard a female's voice

Kali gave me the phone "can you tell kay that kali called?" I asked the girl she was really pretty

"Yeah I will oh never mind he is right here" the phone shuffled and his face looked so confused

"What you calling me for?" I scrunched my face "cause kali wanna talk to you"

"Ima call you back later im busy right now" he hung up "he gone call back later bug" she got disappointed huffing

"How many times have he seen her since"my mama asked "like a few times" I told her

"He never that busy he forget he have a kid or something?" I shrugged "I dont know I think he mad at me"

I covered kali ears "because in the letters he wrote me he wanted to be together but im with jay now and I think he mad about it" I shrugged

She laughed "mommy you going on my field trip Wednesday?" I made a yikes face

I finished tying kali shoe standing up. "Hold my hand so you dont get lost" I was currently at her field trip

She wearing me out "we can get ice cream?" She skipped "yeah wanna ask kayden if she want some?" She said no plainly

she dragged me to the ice cream shop in the kid's science museum. Her and kayden haven't even look each other way since we got here

"You and Kayden not besties anymore?" I asked watching her look at all the ice cream flavors

"Why?" She huffed like I was getting on her nerves "because she talk to the boys that stepped on my hand and I told her she ugly" she shrugged nonchalantly

"I want this one in a cone" I got her what she wanted "can I have some?" I asked her

"No" she took a seat in the chair. "Your mean you know that?"

"I dont care" I shook my head I took a picture of her eating the ice cream. She looked crazy like I didn't do her hair this morning or something

"Hurry so we can go back with your class"

"I am" she got irritated with me "Ima leave you keep being rude to me" she shrugged "alright hurry up so I can take you back with your class and leave"

Once she finished she threw her trash away. "Wipe my face please?" She hugged my leg

"Dont try to be nice now" I dug in my bag for the wipes. "Wipe your face then hands"

We found her class and walked along side them. "You heavy" I held her on my hip

"Im sleepy" she yawned "ready to go?" She nodded. I went to sign her out with her teacher. "Your grandma wanted to see you" I told her walking out

"Im tired" I finally found my car putting her in. Before we could get home she was sleep
