"Yeah mix it" I let kali mix the cupcake mix . They having cupcake day at school tomorrow and it had to be made from scratch
And he we are last minute like always. "What else after this?" I asked my mama through face time
"Put the cup cake paper things in the pan" I did that "okay mama I think I got it from here ,dont spill it"
"Alright goodnight" I told her goodnight hanging up . "Im done whew" her dramatic self wiped her head
I laughed "wanna pour it in the pan?" She played with the decorations "no you can"
"This not my cupcakes" I told her she smacked her lips "oh my god why cant you just do it?"
"Watch yourself" I told her sternly .I did the rest of it putting them in the oven. My phone started ringing
I wiped my hands to answering the facetime from kay. I was surprised he was calling me
"Yes?" I sat the phone down so I could clean the counter off. "Im outside open the door"
"What?" I was confused picking my phone up "you heard me" he hung up. "Kali!" I yelled
"Im right here" I looked down seeing her on the floor with the ipad I bought her "go open the door for your daddy" she excitedly got up
She probably thinks its jay. Ever since kay told me about how he felt about kali calling jay daddy I been trying to keep them apart.
Jay asks for her all time still"What are you doing here ?" I heard her ask him "I came to see you" about time I thought
She came and got back by me on the floor. Kay sat on the bar stool looking at me
"What yall doing" he asked me "making cupcakes for her school" I finished cleaning the counter
I looked at the timer seeing it never started "you never started the timer baby" I said to kali "oh I forgot sorry"
"You have homework?" I asked her "no" she dragged I knew she was lying she always lie about homework
"Go get your backpack" she huffed going to get it. She gave it to me and I went through her folder "here" go sit next to your daddy and do it"
She started crying and kay laughed "its not funny" I rolled my eyes "it is her lil ass dont wanna do that homework"
"You laughing help her with it be a parent" he wasn't laughing when I said that
"Where your pencil?" He asked her "here" she threw it at him "kali stop" she gone start getting whoopings. Im done playing with her
Kay got the pencil off the floor helping her with her homework. The timer went off and I got the cupcakes out
"Kali you can decorate them when they cool down im about to go shower okay?" I had to get out my work clothes
"Okay" I showered taking my time. Once I got out I put on night dress putting my hair up
"You done?" I walked in the kitchen. Kay was just watching her make a mess "you know what mommy gone do it .go take a bath" I help her down she had it all on her clothes
"Okay" she got down skipping away. "You just let her make a mess" I fussed
"She was doing what you told her" I finished the purple cupcakes. "What made you wanna come over here?" He shrugged
"I aint seen her in a while"
"Yeah a while...I dont know if you know or not but she not a baby she can remember stuff and she already doesn't know you and she wont get to know you if you never around"
I accidentally stepped on her ipad. I picked it up putting it on the counter. "You wanna put your number in here its her ipad" I unlocked it giving it to him
"Yeah" he mumbled "what yall made cupcakes for her birthday or something?"
"For her school and you don't know her birthday?"he gave me a look "how you don't know her birthday? Thats like one of the only things you should know"
"Its October?" I nodded "October what?"
"Fourth?" I shook my head no "its the second" I heard her yell my name. "I have to do everything around here" I mumbled.
I held kali rocking her side to side. She had a allergic reaction to a peanut cupcake at school . It was kinda my fault I forgot she was allergic
"Im itchy" she cried "I know baby it'll be gone soon" her little face was all swollen
I sat down with her in my office chair. "Your grandma is going to come get you so you can go with her until im off work okay" I rocked her
"Okay" she sobbed "is she feeling better" the receptionist came with some apple justice
"Thank you and no" I took the apple juice "here drink some of this"
"I dont want it" I sat it on my desk
Kevins mom came through my office door. "Aww" I kissed kali head
"I love you bug your granny here" she came to get her out my arms. "She has clothes in her bag I get off at six so ill come and get her"
"Okay" she picked up the bag "bye mommy" she was still crying "bye baby" they left
I felt so bad I couldn't be there for her right now. I got back to work
I walked In Kevin moms house seeing kali and kay asleep on the couch. She was in his lap like a baby
It was so cute I took a picture of them. Somebody came from the hallway bathroom It was the girl from FaceTime
"Oh hey" she spoke "hi" I went upstairs to kays mom room I lightly knocked
I heard a faint come in "thank you for coming to get her earlier" she comes in clutch often
"Its no problem" I gave her a hug "I really appreciate you so much"
"Aww you make me cry" I laughed
"I cant believe kay is here" I told her "me either he had called me right after I got her and been here all day with her" I bit my lip
"That's good ima get her and go call me if you need anything" I walked out her room
I picked up kali bag I attempted to get her waking kay up . "I'll help you" he got up holding her
We walked out the door "what happened to her?"
"She had a allergic reaction at school" I opened the back seat door for him
"Her ass cried all day until she fell asleep" he put her in her seat "yeah she told me she was itchy"
"Bye babygirl I love you" he kissed her head "here put this in " I gave him the bag
He closed the door "where you been?" He asked me "bye" I dismissed him "why you acting like that?"
