We've shot down all the walkers leaving us in silence but we hear another Walker growl and messy footsteps, they get louder and louder as they reach the barn door before it reveals itself. A shortish blonde man, Charlie, a bite clear on his arm, another on his chest his shirt torn and blood dripping from it followed by a small Walker, a child. Sophia. My heart drops at the sight Sophias rainbow shirt now filthy. My hand instantly clutches the necklace with his name

"'No!" I scream as my now deceased brother Comes staggering over to me I go to run over to him but my body is tackled to the ground. Carol is held back by lori as she sobs

"Sophia! Sophia!" She sobs falling to the ground

"Don't look" I hear Daryls rough voice soothe me as his body shields mine my eyes never leaving my now grey and grotty brother ricks gun raises to their heads

"No, no, no," I speak no tone to my voice daryls bicep tightening around my head and the other around waist. Rick steps forward ready to shoot them "Rick!" I scream and stand up running to him my arm instantly grabbing his

"Cat you don't have to do this" he tells me but I shake my head as the two walkers growl slowly staggering towards me

"I need to," I tell him my voice breaking as I lift my heavy shaking arm "I'm sorry Char" I whisper as it's my gun is pointing at his head before pulling the trigger it's never felt so heavy, it never takes so long. BANG. His body hits the floor causing goose bumps to cover my arms. My brother is now dead. I killed him. I turned my head to look at Carol who's sobbing in Loris arm, she nods at me telling me to do it. I lift my gun one last time causing the young walkers body to fall to the ground. Carol continues to sob as we all stand there just staring at the walkers in silence.

I walk over to Carol her blue eyes full of tears I pul her into a hug her body limp

"I'm sorry" I cry into her shoulder as she sobs and then gets up walking away. Beth continues to loudly sob as she walks over to the walkers

"Shh, shh, stop" Rick tries to stop her but she runs past heading over to one of the walkers sobbing as she places a hand on its body but then the Walker growls grabbing the young girls hair causing her to scream, Rick, Glenn and Shane running over pulling Beth away from the Walker before Andrea kills it, Beth running into her dads arms again still sobbing

I head over to my dead brothers body my weak arms lift his heavy lifeless head

"No, no, no" I cry my hands shaking and then I pick out my knife and stab his head multiple times as I sob feeling guilty, angry with myself I met him die I wasn't there for him

"C'mon" Daryl says lifting me up from the group and away from my brother "You alrigh'?" Daryl asks when I'm stood up facing him my body weak

"I- I don't know" I say blurry eyes as I try and look up at him big heavy tears leaving my eyes

"I gotcha" Daryl speaks pulling me into a hug

The family starts heading back to their house Shane chasing after and we slowly follow after them

"We've been out. We've been combing these woods looking for them and she was in there all along? You knew" Shane accuses storming after them

"Leave us alone" Maggie snaps

"Hey, Shane just stop, man" Rick tries to stop his best friend

"Get your hands off me." Shane snaps "you knew and you kept it from us" he says to Hershel

"I didn't know" Hershel defends with a small voice

"That's bullshit" he shouts "I think y'all knew"

"We didn't know!" Maggie snaps back stopping to face the man before turning back stomping away
