(Cats pov)
The drive is silent and I can see Glenn fidget, shuffling around in the seat, playing with his hands and constantly clearing his throat

"Maggie said she loves me" he interrupts the silence

"Shut up!" I gasp a smile now covering my face for the first time today

"She doesn't mean it,"Glenn dismisses a guilty smile covering his face as the two men keep looking at each other, Rick doesn't reply "I mean she can't. I mean... well... she.. she's upset or confused. She's probably feeling, like..." glenn stutters

"I think she's smart enough to know what she's feeling Pizza boy" I interrupt him

"No, no" glenn dismisses

"She's right" Rick backs me up

"No, you know what? She wants to be in love, so she's... she needs something to... to, like.... To hold onto" glenn stutters

"Glenn, you don't even know what you're sayin' it's pretty obvious to everyone Maggie loves you not just 'cause you're the lastsn standing. So what's the problem?" I ask the boy

"I didn't say it back" Glenn admits making me groan

"Huh" Rick hums

"I've never had a woman day that to me before you know, except my mom, of course, and my sisters." Glenn says making me laugh Rick shooting a glare in my direction "But with Maggie, it's different, we barely know each other. What... what does she really know about me? Nothing. We're practically strangers. But I... I don't know what to do with it. I just stood there like a jerk." Glenn rambles a smile covering both mine and ricks faces

"Hey, hey, this is a good thing, something we don't bet enough of these days. Enjoy it. And when we get back, return the favour. It's not like she's goin' anywhere." Rick lectures the younger man he just nods as the car comes to a stop

"Rick, I know about Lori," Glenn admits my head goes down "hee being pregnant, I got her those pills"

"I figured" Rick speaks opening the car door we all get out walking up to the bar

"I'm sorry" glenn apologises

"Don't be. You did what you thought was right. It just so happens it wasn't." Rick tells him we reach the doors and slowly creep in closing the door behind us, Hershel sitting at the bar his back facing us

"Hershel" Rick announces

"Who's with you?" He asks

"Cat and Glenn" Rick tells him

"Maggie sent him?" The older man asks

"He volunteered he's good like that, they both did" Rick tells him as he slowly walks over to him Glenn and i following

"How many you had?" I ask noticing the glass in his hands

"Not enough" he tells us

"Let's finish this back at home. Beth collapsed, is I'm some sort of state. Must be in shock. I think you are too" rick tell him

"Maggie with her?" The older man dismisses

"Yeah, but Beth needs you" I tell him

"What could I do? She needs her mother. Or rather to mourn... like she should've done weeks ago. I robbed her of that. I see that now." He says taking a drink from his glass

"You thought there was a cure. Can't blame yourself for holding out for hope." Rick reassures the man

"Hope?" Hershel chuckles "when I first saw you runnin' across my field with your boy in your arms, I had little hope he would survive"
