(cats PoV)
The second the sun is up Daryl, Aider and I are awake and up as Maggie and Glenn are on watch

"Wanna go huntin'?" Daryl asks nudging my shoulder and I nod

"We're gonna go out for a bit we'll be back before we're going out" I tell Glenn who nods

"Take care" he says

"Don't miss me too much" I tell him walking off with Daryl into the woods Aider following me

"How'd ya sleep?" He asks me as we duck to avoid some branches

"Not bad for being on the ground, you?" I ask

"Didn't really sleep" he groans

"You ever gonna show me how to use your crossbow?" I ask

"C'mere" he says placing his hand on my shoulder pulling me to his chest the warmth from his body against my back makes me feel safe. He gently picks my hands up n places them where they need to be "now look at that walker"
he says pointing at a walker stumbling in the distance

"Four outta ten" I mutter and I look up at Daryl who just shakes his head

"Now look 'ere and aim" he mumbles into my ear and I aim at the walker and hit it first time

"Fuck, I'm unreal" I boast making Daryl laugh

"You can say that again" he mumbles but I don't hear him

"What?" I ask and he just shakes his head

"Don' worry about it" he replies

"Nah you ain't doin' that!" I gasp

"Oh I am princess" he replies and I just roll my eyes and we head back to the group who are all ready to head out and after walking a while we come across a few houses

"Split up guys, Daryl you come with me, Glenn and Maggie go for that house, Cat and T-Dog that one" Rick announces and I look over to Daryl who looks like he's going to argue but T-dog grabs my arm and leads me to the house

"Ready?" He asks holding onto the door knob and I nod as he bursts though stabbing a Walker and I run to stab the next one and as the two bodies drop to the floor we look around and notice it's clear, we continue to creep though the house into the dark rooms.

I open the kitchen cupboards and grab some tins of food that may be useful

"Y'know I never apologised for nearly killin' you the first day we met" I say to the bigger guy as he walks into the room and he just laughs

"It's alright Cat it was pretty bad ass" he shrugs and I laugh

"How's your scar?" I ask him talking about when he cut open his arm the first time Sophia went missing

"Yeah not bad" he says and shows me it's definitely much smaller

"Think that's everything from here" I shrug

"Yeah think you're right" he says looking into the higher cupboards

"Cat you gotta come here right now" Maggie urges barging into the house as she breathes heavily

"What is it?" I ask

"Hurry" Glenn says and I look at T-dog running out of the house following the pair

(Daryls PoV)
Rick separates us into groups of two and I'm confused as to why he chose Cat and T-dog but I just leave it as we enter the house, it's spotless.

The house is tidy, quiet and empty. We raid through the cupboards and there's not a spec of dust on the tins

"There's no dust or nothin'" I tell Rick
