Chapter 5: After Class

Nathan's P.O.V:

After the time I spent with her, everything that happened afterwards went in a blur.

"Nathan,pare!" Jeez. I came back to reality only to find that I've been spacing out for quite some time now. Grabe, kaninang kanina pa yun ah, malapit na dimissal pero ang lakas parin ng impact sa'kin.. Somehow, I'm starting to get my hopes up na baka nga pwede pa kami the second time around. I'm just so happy, I could die right now. "Huy pare! Is something wrong? You don't seem your normal self right now dude. May problema ka ba?" "Ah, Ha? Pasensya na tol, ano nga ulit?" " ano bang nangyari? Kanina pa akong talak ng talak dito tapos balisa ka naman jan!" "Ah, wala naman tol,. I just nearly fainted earlier. No big deal." "What? Anong no big deal dude? Umuwi ka nalang kaya. Besides, mamayang gabi ko pa naman isusurprise si Cass para sa Anniv namin eh, so you can catch up later, ayt?" "Bro, quit it okay? I'm totally fine. And besides, I have to return all the favors. I will plan things out too for your anniversary. So chill okay? Parang sobrang tense mo ata." He smirked and I laughed. "And Chie? Tapos na ba yung favor na hiningi ko sayo?" "Hah! Sabi ko na nga ba eh! You were actually worried about that. Of course! I'm awesome remember? At tsaka your rich pare, pera mo naman lahat yun eh. So chill okay?" He obviously teases me with his tone. I smirked and punched him slightly at the arm," Gago ka talaga. Pero thanks dude." "No problemo pare,." Then we locked in a bro fist.

Anastashia's P.O.V:

My last class finally ended,. I turn to my phone and found 3 misscalls and 10 messages. Seriously? I always turn my phone silent when inside the class, ayoko kasing maging center of attraction pag biglang nag ring yung phone ko.

4:15 p.m. Nathan

Hey Anastashia :) how's class? Can I meet you today?

Meet me? And how's class talaga ha :3 syempre nakakaantok. If I hadn't known better about Tatan, I think I'd be a retard right now. Jumping and swarming over a simple meet me message from the likes of him.

4:17 p.m. Nathan

Ah, er no what I mean is.. can I see you after class?

T.T seriously I think it's the same thing though. What's the difference of meeting me and seeing me after class anyway?

I'm right outside your room. You can just say so if you miss me. I'm right here :) I'll wave through the window..

Right outside?? Was he serious? I turned to my surroundings only to find na mag isa nalang ako sa room. What time is it? 5:57 p.m. He can't be waiting until now. I slowly peaked through the windows,why am I hiding ? I'm such an idiot sometimes. Urgh! I can't help it!
First window... wala.

Second window... wala din.

Third window... wala rin.

As I neared the fourth window, my heart started beating faster. His there, I can feel it..

Fourth window.... ayun sya! I instantly ducked matapos kung makita sya. He waited that long? My heart can't stop pounding. I clenched my fist and placed it on my chest. Parang sasabog na yata..

Nathan's P.O.V.:

I fished my phone from my pocket. 6:04 p.m. Wala pa ding reply galing sa kanya.I'm right outside her room, pero it feels like no one's in there anymore. Baka naman nakauwi na sya. Napaisip ako. Siguro nga. I heaved a sigh and stood, pinagpagan ko ang pants ko. I didn't feel like leaving yet. So I decided to take a look inside. I hummed a song, our favorite one. A Match Made in Heaven. I entered the room and found a girl sitting on the corner of the fourth window, her hands covering her face. I stopped humming and went near her. I lowered down myself to be leveled with her, "Miss are you o-- Anastashia?"

Anong ginagawa nya? She lifted her head upand looked me in the eye. My eyes pierced hers and it broke me to see a form of fear as a tear started forming. Her face was flushed and her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "Anastashia? Are you okay? Are you hurt?" I said as I gently touch her face and wipe her tears. "Parang sasabog na ako.. Nahihirapan ako.." she said while constantly sobbing." Anong mahirap Tash? Sabihin mo sakin.." I held her closer and tightly. She didn't answer me but instead she pulled me into a hug. I hugged her and rubbed her back. Ako ba ang dahilan? Nasasaktan ba sya dahil sa'kin? Nahihirapan ba sya dahil sakin? I hugged her tighter as I thought of these things. "Sorry Anastashia... I don't want to make it hard for you.. I'm sorry.. "

She sniffed and heaved a sigh then she laughed, I can feel her breath on my neck. "I never thought I'd be this confused, this afraid, this breath taking, this contaminated.. " She saidthis still not pulling away from our hug. I snuggled to her hair and whispered apologies over my breath."I never even imagined that I'd ever feel so overwhelmed, so happy..so excited each day, so anxious and so loved..And For the first time in my life, this is the only hard thing I don't want to stop doing.. Tatan?.. Wag kang magsasawang tulungan akong mahanap sya ha?.. Promise me that you'll remind me each day.. Hanggang sa maalala ko sya at makita ko sya... Promise me.." She pulled from the hug and wiped her eyes.. I took her hand and gently kissed it, then I placed them on my face.."Tashia.. I promise.. Kung kinakailangan kung gawin lahat ng nangyari ulit.. gagawin ko. Ipaaalala ko lahat sayo.. Pero bago yun... May kailangan kang malaman tungkol sa akin.." I looked at her and she smiled at me. "Okay Tan.." This is it. The time I have is limited. I have to use it wisely.
