The store

-Kai's pov

She asked me to tell her who my crush is, I cant do that because I cant tell her its her. That will change everything between us and we are only now becoming good friends, I don't want to ruin it.

"What do you wanna do now" I say realising truth or truth had become incredibly boring.

"Im really not sure, but I do feel a lot better now, how about you?" She asks.

"Yeah same I could probably go back to work but we have the day off.What about a karaoke" I suggest.

"That could be fun but we should give each other makeovers while we do it then it will make it funnier" She say's laughing.

"Wait a second, yes we should do that but do you have any alcohol here because just think about it. Drunk, karaoke, makeovers" I say giggling.

"Well I have like half a bottle of wine so do you wanna go on a walk to the store?"

"Yes yes yes" I say excitedly.

We are walking to the store and I'm excited, I am genuinely interested to see what drunk cat is like.

"Whats your favourite drink?" I ask to fill the silence.

"Well I'm quite boring to be honest I really enjoy a glass of red wine, whats yours?" she asks now looking at me.

"I like beer, which is also quite boring but I wanna get DRUNK so I'm gonna get an array of drinks" I say. Wow I'm being fancy using the word array.

"Yeah okay"

We made it to the store and rush over to the alcohol section. We practically chuck bottles into our cart giggling the whole time.

"ooh we need snacks" I say with a massive grin on my face as if I'm proud of the idea.

"Yesss please" She says.

I get all the snacks I want and put them all in the cart with no thought of how much is too much. "Shoot, I need the toilet" she say stalling our rush to get back to the trailers.

"Thats okay, umm, I'll meet you by the checkouts" I say smiling at her.

I grab a couple more things and head over to the checkouts. I'm waiting in the queue and realise one of the workers is kinda hot and most likely gay. I stop myself by thinking about the girl I've been spending a lot of time with recently but then I end up thinking about how she is straight and already has a crush. By this point I notice that the hot checkout worker is waving at me and saying next. Great, I couldn't have been served by a 60 year old retired man.

"Hey"

"Hi, how are you?" She asks.

"Im good, how are you?" I ask back.

"I'm good, are you having a party or something?" She asks me.

"Yeah I suppose I am" I say smiling.

"You suppose, it doesn't seem very well planned" she jokes.

"Yeah it is a last minute thing" I say earning a laugh from her.

"Hey you know what your pretty cool would you want to go out sometime?" She asks. I freeze at the question.

"Well I an single but the thing is, is that I'm trying to hint to one of my cast mates that I like her, which is proving to be a but difficult because I'm like 90% sure shes straight but I just cant be with anyone else, I cant get my mind off-" I'm rambling but I cut myself off when I realise shes back I whisper "her" so that the cashier knows.

"Ahh I understand, well I hope it all works out" She says without giving away what we are on about.

"What all works out, what?" Caterina says trying to get in on the conversation.

"Don't worry its nothing" I say giving eyes to the cashier as I awkwardly laugh.

"Okay your total will be 264 dollars so I'm assuming thats card" The hot cashier says.

"y-" I go to say but get interrupted.

"yes that would be card, I've got it don't worry" Caterina says as shes lightly pushing me out of the way.

"oh okay thank you" I feel myself start to blush and I give the cashier a look.

"Uhh shit, we have to carry all these bags back to the trailers" I say complaining.

"We could start now" She says hinting at the drinks "It would make the bags lighter aswell" She adds.

"Great idea" I smile.

We get back to the trailers but we give eachother a questionable look that silently asks 'which trailer'. "We can go in mine because I have LED light which make everything a vibe" I laugh.

"Yes okay, maybe I should get some, I'm sure my kids would love." She says now with a sad face thinking about her kids.

"Okay race you to my trailer" I say before running off.

"We both know you're faster than me theres no point in me even trying" she shouted. I kinda felt bad so I stopped.

"Alright fine, we wouldn't want our drinks getting shaken up anyway" I say giggling.

We get into my trailer and we put everything out on my table. "Think we went a bit overboard?" I ask winning a laugh from her. Shes so pretty.

"Its fine, right I'm gonna go over to my trailer to get some make over things, I'll be right back. Oh wait actually should we change into comfy clothes?" She suggests. Her face is lit up now from pure excitement.

"Yeah I'll get changed too"

She left me all alone. I need to decide what to wear, we are probably gonna end up dancing so I dont wanna wear something that will make me hot. Maybe a tank and some comfy shorts.

I'm nervously waiting for her to come back and the only way for me to fill this anxious wave in my body is to give myself something to do. Drink. I'm drinking more and more and the time seems to be going at a slow rate to the point I feel like I have been waiting for days.
