Talia had barely set foot inside the east wing when Riven found her.

"So, what do you think?"

His breath already reeked of alcohol.

Talia looked around, it was dark, that much she liked, the room was only lit with sporadic magenta neon lights.

The air was humid, the music was loud.

It was overwhelming, but maybe I'm a good way?

"I think I like it."

She told him, grinning as he slung his arm across her shoulders.

"Wanna play beer pong? Let's play beer pong- hey! Sky!"

Riven shouted as Sky and Bloom entered the building.

"Get your drinking pants on mate, we're playing beer pong."

"Way ahead of you."

Bloom promised, laughing as she lead the way to where the beer pong was set up.

Talia helped Riven fill the cups and they paired off, boys versus girls.

As the game went on Talia and Bloom were falling behind, so they shared a look, silently agreeing to use their special skills as an advantage.

Talia's mind was feeling looser, and shockingly, the overwhelming sensations of the party were fading away.

The heart beats dimmed, the smell of blood wisped away.

Bloom and Talia shared a laugh as Bloom scored a point, and Sky's eyes widened as he lifted the beer.

"This beer's hot."

He announced in disbelief.

"Drink up! Them's the rules."

Bloom cheered tipsily.

Riven went next, his ping pong ball landed in the cup in front of Talia and promptly bounced out.

He gaped, Talia smirked.

Cheater.

He mouthed, but he had a wide grin.

Talia took the next shot, it landed in the boys last beer, ending their game.

The girls cheered as Riven chugged the solo cup, laughing as he finished.

"You good?"

Sky asked nudging Talia as the group clustered together away from the beer pong table.

"Honestly I'm great!"

Talia exclaimed over the music, grinning widely, leaning into his side.

"You feeling a little more relaxed?"

Bloom asked Sky.

"Ah, certainly drunker."

Sky admitted.

"Yeah, so much for not drinking tonight."

Riven said pointedly to Sky.

"But this one's a bit more fun than Stella."

Riven gestured to Bloom.

"Although... reminds me of Ricki."

Sky gave Riven a disapproving look, Talia gaped.

"Who's Ricki?"

Bloom asked in interest, joining Riven in leaning against a table.

"Riv, don't."
