POV: Nick
I opened my eyes and was met with the sound of a flight attendant announcing our landing. I come to find out I had slept through the entire flight.
Me and my brothers start to clap, and the people around us followed. As the clapping died down, I sat up and stretched my arms and legs. After being on a plane for more than 4 hours, I was in definite need of a stretch.
Once I got up, I exited the plane along with Matt and Chris. We made our way through the narrow aisle and went through the entrance of the plane.
When we got inside the airport, we headed over to the baggage area. All three of us sat at the baggage area for at least 15 minutes before finally retrieving our luggage.
None of us had actually made a full conversation since we got off the plane. It was silent most of the way out of the airport. I guess no one really had the energy.
As soon as the fresh air hit my face when we went through the doors of the airport, I decided to break the silence.
"Soo uhm.... What's our plan now?"
"That's a great idea. Let's call an uber?" replied Matt.
The silence accompanied the air once again.
"Dude I'm sick and tired of this silence. Let's just get this done and over with" Chris exclaimed.
Chris took out his phone and called the uber. While he was doing that, me and Matt were giggling with each other because of how Chris got angry so quick.
As we were waiting for the Uber, we were finally acting normal again. Well, mainly me and Chris. Matt was busy finding the location of the Cruise. Me and Chris were throwing jokes left and right at each other. I hadn't had that good of a laugh in a while.
Once the uber arrived, we put our luggage in the back and got into the back of the car. Matt gave the uber driver the directions, and we were on the way.
I was happy that me and my brothers were going on this trip. We hadn't actually hung out like this in a while, and if we did, it was for the camera. So, I was glad we were doing such an event like this.
It took a while before we finally reached our destination. It took us about 30 minutes to get to the place where we would board our cruise. I was excited and nervous at the same time. There weren't enough words to express how I felt.
As the car came to a stop, me and my brothers got out of the car and got out luggage. We paid the uber driver before heading over to the cruise.
I was scared shitless as we approached the huge ship. It was a lot bigger than I had pictured. We headed over to the front of the cruise and got checked in. All of us learned that we wouldn't actually be going out to sea today, but instead we would stay a night on the cruise and leave tomorrow morning.
The three of us made our way into the cruise and as we did, our jaws dropped. The inside of the place was beautiful. There was red carpet leading everywhere and there was a big chandelier in the entrance. Everything had a hint of gold in it, which gave the place a rich vibe to it. The place also had an old vibe to it. There was old furniture decorating the cruise and its rooms within. Overall, the whole cruise was filled with adventure and beauty. I could not wait to spend the next couple of weeks here.
We made our way to our room where we would be staying. As we came close to the door of our room, I could see the number and how it was neatly carved into it. It was also accompanied by the nice shimmer of gold.
Matt was the one to open the door into our room. When he did, I was hit with a fantastic smell of cinnamon and spice. The bed was neatly made, and the room looked like it was just cleaned from the ceiling all the way to the floor. I just knew we would have a good time here.
