CHAPTER 10 || d a t e ???

POV: Nick 

My ghost practically left my body as soon as I heard my alarm. I swear, I'm going to get a concussion from falling out my bed. In this moment, I remembered I am going to be hanging out with Arlo, so I leaped out my bed and started to get ready for the day.

I brushed my teeth and put on clean clothes after I got out of the shower. Right after breakfast I would be going to accompany Arlo for the rest of the day. 

It was only 8:19, so I went to go and wake up Matt and Chris.

"Good morning bitches!!!!! Breakfast is starting in like, 10 minutes" I said to wake up my brothers.

They slowly started to get up from their slumber as I yelled at them to wake up. 

"Uhm anyways, I'm going to hang out with Arlo today." 

It was almost if something had burst in Matt and Chris, because as soon as I said that they both looked at me with a look of shock and excitement. 

"Wait reaLLy?! Oh mY god when?" Chris started to yell as his voice cracked. 

"Right after breakfast." I couldn't hold in my smile. The thought of hanging out with Arlo made my stomach flutter. 

"Alright just go without us then! Go hangout with your boyfriend" Matt said as he giggled. 

"Yeah, on it. Also, he is NOT my boyfriend" I said as I walked out the hotel and made my way towards the dining room. 

I can't lie, my heart was beating way too fast.

As soon as I pushed open the doors, my eyes met with Arlos. I smiled and waved, before going up to the breakfast bar and picking out some food for my plate. 

When I was done, I looked around to see if Matt and Chris were there yet. To my surprise, they weren't. I had no idea what to do, so I just went with my instinct and went to go sit with Arlo. 

"Hey, how's it going?" I say, trying to get Arlo's attention. Fortunately, he looked up from his phone and noticed me almost immediately.

"Hello! It's going quite well. How are you?" All I could focus on was his smile. It was just wayyyy too perfect. 

"It's going amazing now that you are here" I replied in almost an instant. No thoughts made it to my head before I said that, 

"Well, I'm glad" He said as he giggled. I sat down in my seat after he said that. 

-----TIME SKIP-----

We ate and finished up our meal. My heart almost jumped out my chest when I thought about the day to come.

Arlo told me we would be going somewhere around the cruise, which didn't give me much information. I mean, duh. We are on a cruise.

"Hey, so where are we going exactly?" I said as I was quite confused. 

"Don't worry about it. I know a few spots. My dad's the captain, so I can show you a couple places where no one goes" Arlo responded. 

"Oh awesome. That sounds amazing!" 

My smile grew bigger by the minute. He is showing me places around the ship where no one is allowed to go!? Me of all people?? This is actually the dream. 

"Here, come. I have a place I would like to go see." 

He motioned his fingers at me to go follow him. I started to pick up my pace as he made his way down the halls. 

We started to go down a long hallway with the floors covered in a multitude of patterns and there are doors along both sides of the wall. 

"Come on!!! We still have a long way to go!!!" Arlo shouted at me as he started to run down the hall. He turned his head back to smile at me before turning his head to focus on what was in front of him.
