CHAPTER 7 || p o o l

POV: Nick

Me and my brothers started making our way towards the breakfast room. We started making small talk, just like we normally do. 

There wasn't anything serious we talked about, but we talked about some small stuff. Before we knew it, we were at breakfast. 

Chris pushed open the door and we were once again hit with the marbled beauty of the room. I was looking around and saw that some people were still in their pajamas, or not in anything fancy. It was only a couple of people who did this, but it still made me happy. 

I made my way over to the breakfast bar and got myself some food. When I turned around, my eyes met with the boy who had been on my mind since yesterday morning. 

 Arlo

I smiled a bit at him before following my brothers over to a table. Just the thought of him made my heart flutter.

My god this is going to be a struggle. 

-----TIME SKIP-----

Me, Matt, and Chris had all made our way back to our room to get ready to go to the pool.  I brushed my teeth and put on my swimming trunks. I put a shirt on as I wouldn't be getting in the pool for a while. 

"Hey!!!! Are you guys ready?" I yelled out to my brothers. 

"Give me a sec- I have to put on my shoes!" Yells Chris from the other side of the room. 

I make my way over to the other side of the room and I see Chris struggling to put on his shoes. 

He eventually puts on his shoes, and we were on our way. We talked and laughed on the way there, but we also complained about how long of a walk it was to get to the pool. Seriously, it was like a ten-minute walk. 

Finally, we made it to the pool. Matt and Chris immediately took off their extra clothing and hopped into the pool. Me, on the other hand, took our stuff and put it next to a table with a couple chairs that leaned back. I decided to lay down and chill for a little bit. 

Although, that was stopped as I had to go to the bathroom. I sat up and looked around for the nearest bathroom. I spotted one, but it was halfway across the cruise. Why was there a bathroom halfway across the cruise? I found it stupid that there isn't a bathroom by the pool. That's just plain stupid. 

I put on my glasses and started to make my way over to the bathroom. Luckily it wasn't so urgent that I had to sprint across the ship just to reach the bathroom. 

After what felt like a million years, I made my way into the bathroom. I did whatever I needed to do, and went to go wash my hands. (If you don't wash your hands, you are absolutely disgusting.)

I walked out and got jump scared from the person that was standing Infront of me. 

"Hey sandwich boy" Arlo said as if he didn't just scare the shit out of me. 

"Uhm... Hey whateverrr boy.....? Okay that was awkward. Anyways, hey!.." I said trying to come up with something to say. 

"Hahah! Nice to see you again. I saw you, so I thought I might come and say hi" Arlo replied with a hint of laughter in his voice. 

"Welp, it was nice to see you too!" I said back.

"Oh hey uhm.. I was wondering maybe if I could get your number? You're like the only person I have talked to except for my dad and little sister." the boy exclaimed as his voice got slightly quieter. 

"Oh! Sure! I guess we are kind of in the same situation. You're the only person I have talked to except for my brothers." I replied with laughter.

"That's funny! Anyways, your number?" he exclaimed. His smile tilted to the side as he did. 

"Yup! It's ###-###-####" I smiled back, even though it was just a hint of what I was feeling. On the inside, my stomach was flipping upside down and it felt like I was about to throw up. 

"Alright I just texted you. I'll leave you alone for now. See you later!" Arlo said as he turned around and waved at me goodbye. 

I waved back and when I started to walk back to the pool, I looked down at my phone and saw the text he had sent me. 

Once I looked back up, I held the phone close to my chest and started smiling and giggling. 

I was happy. I mean, I had just gotten Arlo's number!

I got back to the pool and decided to hop in with Matt and Chris.

They were splashing water on each other and overall looked like they were having a good time. 

For the first time in a while, things were going right.

OMG HEY QUEEN! I just finished writing the 7th chapter, and you just finished reading it. 

I'm like, super proud of myself because I just wrote 2 chapters and finished them. 

I'm planning on writing more tomorrow so stay tuned. 😘

I Lowkey think some of these last chapters were booty ass but that doesn't matter. I hope you enjoyed and goodbye.
