POV: Nick

I was walking around the cruise, exploring every single nook and cranny. Everything had my jaw dropped by the way everything was. I had explored at least 20 new rooms and all of them had a special thing added to them. There was a room that looked under the ocean, and you could see all of the different types of fish and coral there was throughout the waters. It was all incredible to look at.

I had made my way up onto the deck, which was filled with people and attractions. There was a couple of small restaurants that were producing smells that were quite delightful. The smells definitely made my mouth water. I ended up going over to one of the small restaurants and ordered myself a sandwich. There was no way I could pass up the opportunity.

It felt weird without my brothers, as I depended on them most of the time. Honestly, we all depended on each other.

While I was walking around, I took in my surroundings and started taking in the beauty it held. The ocean glistened in the sunlight, and it held a beautiful blue color.  The waves hit the side of the cruise as it slowly moved its way through the water.

My eyes moved away from the sea and landed on a man that was leaning on the side of the rail. He was looking out into the ocean, seeming to be lost in thought.

And oh my gosh.

He was the most handsome man I had ever seen before. His body stood strong and tall, and brown curls laid atop his head. In addition, he had an immaculate sense of style. He had black baggy jeans with a band t-shirt, which looked quite amazing. A young girl came and tapped him on the shoulder, which he turned his head to and smiled at. Even his smile is perfect. There is a small gap between his two front teeth, and he had small dimples on his cheeks.

Everything about him seemed to be im-perfectly perfect.

I quickly walked to a table and sat down, attempting to hide myself from the man.

This man had me falling in love at first sight. There were no other words to express how I was feeling. Just the thought of him made my stomach flutter, and I didn't even know his name.

I was lost in thought when I remembered he was one of the people I had made eye contact to this morning.

Fuck.

Had I really just shown myself like that to the person I just fell in love with? What if he already thinks I'm a slob?

Okay, maybe I am a little over dramatic, but the thought of making a fool of myself clouded my mind again. My hands started clenching into fists, which didn't end well. The feeling of a wet substance started dripping down my hands.

Looking down, I saw what I had squished. I was so lost in thought that I had forgotten about my half-eaten sandwich. Avocado, bread, tomatoes, and everything else that you would think goes on a sandwich, was now on my hands. Sighing, I let my head rest onto the table. I started to close my eyes a bit before I was jump scared.

"You're quite the character aren't you," said an unfamiliar voice.

I lifted my head only to be met with the man that had been over on the rail.

"Uhm, not really, I'm really just a mess" I replied with a hint of embarrassment in my voice.

I was trying so hard not to blush and run away from the situation, but I managed to calm myself.

"Here, I think you might need these napkins" the man was chuckling as he handed me some napkins, which seemed to appear out of nowhere.

"Thanks..." I whispered back while starting to wipe my hands.

"No problem, it's the least I could do" He said with a newfound softness in his voice.

He started to walk away, but before he could I caught myself yelling out to the man.

"Hey! Uhm, do you think perhaps I could get your name?" I said while squinting my eyes, as the sun was beaming in my face.

"The name is Arlo, yours?" he replied.

"Nick" I exclaimed with a smile forming on my face.

"I'll see you around sometime soon! So sorry I have to go, duty calls!" Arlo yelled back as he started walking away, which ended up turning into a slight jog.

I could feel the blush starting to form on my face. I just couldn't wait to tell Matt and Chris about what just happened.

End notes:

This definitely was not my best writing. I am so tired, and my brain juices are not working.

Chapters are hopefully going to be out every week, if you're lucky. School is really tiring right now so my motivation is low.

I hope this will be able to hold everyone up.👍
