CHAPTER 9 || p l a n s

POV: Nick

The thought of staying awake today was killing me. 

I had spent so much time talking to Arlo this morning, that I had totally forgotten the after effects.

Every step I took I regretted, which absolutely sucked. Me, Matt, and Chris are all going shopping at the shops they have on the cruise, so we are doing a TON of walking. 

Honestly, I thought about asking Matt and Chris if I could go to our room, but I didn't want to ruin the fun. I guess I just had to wait this one out. 

"Oooo! Okay, so what shop should we go to next!" Chris exclaimed. 

"Hmmm, I was thinking the one over there? It looks like they have a bunch of fun accessories and jewelry" Matt responded.

"Lets go then!" Chris said as he started to jog over to the shop. 

"Chris, wait for me!!!" I yelled out to Chris. 

As I started to yell out to Chris, I got a notification.  I picked up my phone and noticed it was a message from Arlo.

-----MESSAGES-----

A:  Meet me at the sandwich shop?

N: On it. Be right there

----------

"Hey guys- I'm going to go get an energy drink and a sandwich. I'll see you guys later. Text me if you need anything" I yelled out to Matt and Chris. They were so far ahead of me that I didn't even know if they heard me. 

"See you!" Matt yelled back. 

 Before they knew it, I had gone off. 

I started to walk to the sandwich place that I had been to a couple days prior. Suddenly, my exhaustion had gone away. I seemingly just forgot about it. 

I arrived at the sandwich shop in just under a couple minutes. I spotted Arlo at one of the tables, so I made my way over to him. 

"Hey Arlo!" I said to him, making myself known. 

"Hello Nick" He replied as I sat right next to him. 

"So, what's up?" I exclaimed, as I was a bit confused. 

"Oh, right. I just wanted to tell you that I'm free tomorrow, so we could hang out tomorrow if you want." Arlo responded.

"Yeah, that should work! Me and my brothers don't have a lot planned. They were thinking about going on a couple rides, but I'm scared of those things, so I turned down the offer." I giggled in response. Roler coasters truly scared me. 

"Awesome! I have so much planned. I haven't hung out with someone like this in forever." He said as he smiled.

Me and Arlo continued to talk about our day and the days to come. We ordered some food and ate while we talked. 

There wasn't really anything that could beat times like this. 

(Or so Nick thought)

-----TIME SKIP-----

The day was starting to come to an end, so me and my brothers all made our way back to our room. 

I was super tired and could sleep on hardwood flooring if I had to. 

As soon as we entered the room, I ran to the bathroom to go get ready for bed.

I was so eager to get into my bed. 

When I was done getting ready, I made my way over to my bed and went to sleep almost immediately.

anyways, this chapter is kinda short but I'm planning to add another chapter tonight.
