It had been about two hours since me and Nix have been watching the entire trial. It was really long - considering how the video even had his first trial along with his second. I kept listening to every word in the trial, almost as if my entire life depended on it. I heard Nix yawn out of boredom before exclaiming, "Can't we jus-"

"SHH!" I hushed out as loud as I could as I stretched my hand out as a motion to tell him to shut up. My eyes were still glued onto the computer screen, not caring about whatever the time could be right now. I kept looking at Sal the entire time.. the footage was blurry, but his eyes made it somewhat easier to see where he was looking. Looking.

I kept staring at his eye movement.. though one of them was a fake one, I tried to focus where he was looking. Eventually, Nix also scooted closer before glancing towards me. "What are you looking for anyway?" He asked.

I didn't respond right away. At this point, Sal was on the stand giving his statements. I waited for the right time to point it out..

"...Here."

I quickly stopped the video and pointed at his eye before looking at Nix, "Were there balconies in the courtroom?" Nix looked at me and shook his head, "Nope, never was." I looked over at the screen again, still pointing at his eye. "Look. He keeps glancing in the same direction, and he's been doing this ever since he stood on the stand."

I quickly rewinded the video back 20 seconds and played the video. Sure enough, he glanced up about 5 times. Almost as if someone was standing there. Or, well, probably floating. "See?? And he does this a LOT during the trial. There's no way he's just looking for no reason."

Nix just shrug his shoulders, “I dunno man.. dude's pretty insane himself.” I looked at him with utter confusion before claiming, “Absolutely not! He seemed so sane when he wasn't on the stand. It's just.. almost as if—”

“Something's watching him?”

I looked at Nix for a second before nodding, “..Yeah, that.” I took a sigh after saying all of that. I looked back at the computer screen, pretty much unsure of what to do next.

Hey, how about we look into this tomorrow? You seem quite tired after all of that dude.” Nix spoke up. Actually, I did feel pretty tired. I didn't realize until he pointed it out. “Yeah, I guess so.” I said, agreeing with him. I shut off the computer before getting up, stretching after doing so.

-

I said goodbye to Nix as I left the basement floor. I stared at the buttons in the elevator for a while, before finally pressing the button to the first floor. As the elevator doors closed, I slipped out my phone and quickly texted my dad, ‘Hey dad, I'm going around the apartment with a friend I made. Call me if you need me at any time.’

I put my phone back in my pocket as the doors slid open again, to the first floor. I stepped out and walked out towards the exit, taking in the cold breeze that was still swaying around. I rubbed my arms before continuing to walk towards the one place I wanted to see for myself. The Nockfell Graveyard.

-

After about 10 or so minutes of walking, I finally arrived to the graveyard. Its.. not so surprisingly small. I just looked up at the sign with the text ‘Nockfell Graveyard’ before pushing the gates open. I looked around the yard, reading the names out as I walked past. Most of them being people I never knew, while others being the victims of the Sally Face Case.

Henry Fisher, Lisa Johnson, Larry Johnson, Chug, Soda, Todd, Ash.. even his mother, Diane Fisher. I sighed before seeing that his grave was no where near his own parents. Instead, it was far. I walked over to the lonely piece of gravestone and examined the text written. ‘Sal Fisher. 1976-2004. Son of Henry and Diane Fisher.’ Upon it was his prosthetic mask, all dirty and scratched up from being here for so many years.

I picked up the mask pieces before caressing my thumb across the cheek of the white-colored part of the mask. As I took a sigh, the wind suddenly started to pick up. I looked around before looking back at the mask and putting it down how it was. As much as I'd say that he was an idiot and a crazy guy for killing his own dad and a child, just seeing his grave being far from his friends who did live.. it was a sight to see.

Admittedly, I didn't know what to feel. The people who hate him have a right to, but then again, I feel bad for him. Watching his trial, hearing his words, it's almost as if he knew he isn't heard. Even though so many people were watching, it's just as if they're watching for fun. Not to hear the words of a serial killer. And it seemed like he knew that.

Walking back to the apartment, the words and scenes from the trial played all over again in my mind. His actions, the testimony, the way his friend, Ash, tried to save him last second too. Everything played like some movie scene, especially this one thing he said with steadiness.

Is that a threat?”

...

It's a warning.”
