The end of Deep Cut?

You wake up with a tired yawn. And as usual hear light snoring next to you, you look down to see Shiver still fast asleep. "Baby...wakey wakey." You smile as you stroke Shiver's head. Shiver slowly stirs awake and looks up at you. "Hey beautiful. Ready for our day of fun?" You ask. Shiver slowly sits up and nods. "Then let's get ready!" You smile. Once you get ready you go make some breakfast. Some waffles with strawberries should do good. You get the waffles started when you hear Shiver coming down the stairs. "Hey Shiv." You smile. "Hi..." Shiver sighs. "You okay?" You ask. "Yeah...I'm fine..." Shiver grumbles. "Well...do you wanna tell me what happened last night? Why you were so upset?" You ask. "No...I don't..." Shiver mumbles as she leaves the kitchen. Weird.

"Hey you guys! We're here!" You hear Frye call. Big man and Frye had arrived at the park. "Shiver!" Frye smiles as she runs up and hugs her friend. "Hi Frye." Shiver smiles. "Ay ay ( Guys! I just had the most amazing idea ever!!!)" Big man gasps. "You say that about every idea you have." Shiver smirks. "Ay ( Well...this one is a good one! Since there is a 80 percent chance of rain today, let's go in the cozy cafe.)" Big man smiles. "Oh cod...I haven't been there in years." Shiver gasps. "It'll be just like old times." Frye laughs. "I've never been there....but I'm sure I'd love it!" You smile. You and Deep Cut walk to the cafe, and you enter just in time for it to start raining. "Wow....our luck is amazing!" Frye cheers. "Hello how can I-OH MY COD!!" The cashier says normaly before totally flipping out about seeing Deep Cut. "Y-you're Deep Cut!?" The cashier asks excitedly. The trio smiles and gives the cashier a tiny wave. "This is the best day of my life!!" The cashier screams. Onc the fan factor was over you and the resr fo the trio got a dark corner with dim yellow lights. It was so pretty. "Wow...this place brings me back." Shiver smiles. "Yeah...it r-really does..." Frye sniffles. "You okay Frye?" You ask. "Nah...not really." Frye sighs as she looks down at the table. "What's wrong?" Shiver asks. "This place...it just has that nostalgia of when it was just us. It was just the theee of us...when you didn't have a partner. W-when you actually spent time with us. The only time we actually get to hang out with you is when you and y/n have a falling out. But...I don't want that...I want our old times back when y/n wasn't around. When they weren't stealing all your attention. We don't sit down and talk after splatcasts anymore...you just get up and leave to go be with your partner. When I look to the past and the present...all I see is the begging of Deep Cut...and the end of it." Frye mumurs. "Frye...I didn't know you felt that way...but y/n us still my partner. And I'm sorry you're upset about that...but if I have to leave the group to spend time with y/n, I will." Shiver says. Frye looks at Shiver in shock. "Y-you don't mean that...d-do you?" Frye asks, aa tears run down her and Big man's faces. "G-guys I'm sorry but....I..." Shiver begins. "No...don't even bother. We understand that you'd rather spend time with someone you just met rather than the people who've loved you for years. We'll just find someone else to take your spot." Frye huffs as she gets up from the booth. "Ay ay ( I-I can't belive I ever loved you. You're a traitor.)" Big man sobs as he follows Frye out the cafe. You were shocked, you never knew they felt that way. "Whatever. They just made a huge mistake dumping me." Shiver huffs. But about an hour later...the splatcast was on. "How!? H-have they already replaced me that fast?" Shiver asks as she gets on her phone. The intro lookedvthe same...except...one ofbthe voices were different. You and Shiver had never heard that voice before. Once splatcast stared, you and Shiver were shocked to see an octoling with tan skin, sky blue eyes, and sparkely white tentacles. "Hey yall! Listen up, this show is about to go down! Tearing through the splatland we're Deep Cut!" The octoling smiles. "Anarchy splatcast we're live!" Frye cheers. "Ay ay (Let's do this)" Big man giggled. "You splat turf, we rule the earth!" The octoling smiles. "Ay ay ay (Sonata, Frye, and Big man)" Big man smiles. "S-Sonata? Who's that!?' Shiver asks. "I guess she's your replacement." You sigh. "I-I didn't think those idiots would actually replace me!!" Shiver shouts. "But...isn't that what you wanted?" You ask. "No! I wanted...I don't even know what I wanted!!" Shiver sighs. "Well...I guess this is the new Deep Cut." You sigh. "I-I didn't want them to replace me...b-but they did..." Shiver whimpers. "To be fair, you did kinda replace them with me." You state. "I-I didn't...I didn't w-want them to...to replace me...I-I didn't mean for that ro happen...." Shiver sniffles. "Don't cry Shiver. You need look on the bright side of things." You smile. "Whatever...but for the record, this is your fault." Shiver snaps. "How is it MY fault!? When we first met I didn't approach you, YOU approached me. You made the effort to keep in touch, and you're the one who snapped at your friends. How is any of that MY fault?" You ask. Shiver looks down at her hands as her eyes tear up and her voice begins to crack. "I'm sorry..." Shiver sniffles. "Maybe that's why they left Shiv. Because you always try to put the blame on others. You never think that maybe it was your fault. And I'm not saying that to be mean....I'm saying it because it's the truth." You say. "I-I never b-blamed them..." Shiver whimpers. "Then why else would they have left?" You ask. "I-I want to try to smooth things over with them...if they still want to talk to me after the way I treated them..." Shiver sighs.

You and Shiver walk to the Splatcast studio to find Frye and Big man chatting it up with Sonata. The gaurds allow Shiver and suprisingly they let you too. Shiver walks up to the trio. "Hi..." Shiver whimpers. "Oh! Is this the girl you were talking about....she is so pretty!" Sonata exclaims. "Thank you...but um...I'm here to-" Shiver begins. "Make us feel like crap?" Frye asks angrily, cutting Shiver off. Tears spill from Shiver's eyes upon hearing that sentence. "I'm sorry..." Shiver sobs. "I'm gonna...give you guys some time..." Sonata replies kindly as she leaves the four of you alone. She was super kind...a bit too kind. "Ay ay (Well...if you're so sorry...then why don't you come back?)" Big man asks with a smile. "But you replaced me!!!" Shiver sobs as she falls to the ground and covers her face with her hands. "Shivie...n-no don't cry. We...we were just having fun with introducing people to the splatcast. Not permanently, but just for fun." Frye says, hugging her friend. "We didn't mean to make you feel like this...we won't ever do it again." Frye mumbles. "Please don't...I can't bare losing you both..." Shiver sniffles.  "Ay ay (We're sorry...I swear on my flipper we'll never do that ever again.)" Big man smiles. "Hopefully you won't..." Shiver sniffles. "And I apologize to. I would never want to get in the way of Deep Cut." You say. Frye looks up at you and smiles. "Don't apologize, we're glad you're making Shiver happy. We hope you continue to make her happy." Frye smiles. "So do I..." You gulp to yourself. Shiver had to meet your parents tommorow...like a REAL meeting. The kind where the kind of parents that could literally END your relationship with the love of your life. Yup, NOTHING could go wrong!
