Just realized I changed Fenris' eye color from hazel to green, but oh well.
Fenris' POV:
I had to admit, communicating with Sodo while he was drunk wasn't too bad. Sure, he was a bit outspoken with practically every word that came out of his mouth, but it was still quite enjoyable. Any filth he said was playful and mainly directed at Aether, while all I received were things that some would take as compliments. Being called 'hot' out of the blue was a bit strange, it definitely caught me off-guard, but if anything it was quite funny.
"Nope, that's enough for the night," Aether scolded as Sodo went to reach for his alcoholic beverage. Before the fire ghoul could reach it, Aether stretched out his leg and pushed the bottle across the unusually large coffee table. Sodo whined in protest, smacking Aether's arm once before flopping back against the couch. I had a small smirk on my face, my elbows propped against the counter as I leaned against it.
Sodo turned back around, his hands on the back of the couch as he faced me. He had a huge grin on his face, his tail swaying behind him all over the place. Aether had to lay practically flat against the couch in order to avoid getting smacked by the fire ghoul's wild spade flying through the air. The past few minutes, I had been entertaining the ghoul. It was a nice surprise when he started not just talking to me, but flirting with me. I wanted to keep it going as long as possible, because I knew if I did, he would never hear the end of it. Maybe what I was doing could be seen as taking advantage of Sodo, but it was one of the most minuscule things I could be doing all things considering.
"Hey, Fenris," Sodo whispered, his head tilting to the side. He hadn't done much to interrupt the movie, so that was a plus. I noticed the fire ghoul's gaze travel behind me for a moment before making eye contact with me once more, "I want popcorn."
I leaned further onto the counter, my eyes narrowing onto Sodo. "How do you ask?" an obvious smirk formed on my lips. Aether was looking at me from over the couch now, shooting me an annoyed glare after hearing my words. I offered him an impish wave before turning back to Sodo, raising a brow at his silence.
He let out a small huff, staring at me before saying, "May I please have some popcorn?" I propped my elbow up onto the counter, holding my chin and looking up as in thought. The smirk on my lips only grew when Sodo whined a loud, "Please?" If it were up to me, the ghoul would be drunk all the time. I gave up my teasing, turning towards where the cabinet was and opening the door.
I pulled out the thin bag of popcorn from a box, tearing the plastic away from it and throwing the trash away. I turned back towards Sodo, whose eyes were glowing as he looked at me expectantly. I threw the small bag over to him, and part of me was surprised when he caught it due to his state. "Thanks," he smiled, turning around and flopping back onto the couch. He placed his hand under the popcorn, and instantly the room was filled with loud popping sounds.
"Shit- Sodo!" Cirrus hissed, having being half-asleep laying against Mountain just moments before. "Little warning next time?" He didn't respond, and though I couldn't see his see his face, I assumed he was happily watching the popcorn bag rise quickly in his hands. I shook my head, an entertained smile remaining on my face as I turned and grabbed my water bottle. I flicked the light off, the only light being that of the television once more.
Starting to round the couch, I set my eyes onto my destination, and to my surprise it was now occupied. Swiss had lowered himself down on the couch to lay down, but I couldn't tell if he was asleep or not because of the angle. Once I had made my way around the couch, I set my water down on the coffee table, turning to look at Swiss.
He didn't show any obvious response to my approach. I made sure I was out of the way of anyone who was watching TV before looking back down at Swiss. I tilted my head, waiting a quick moment before the television flashed a bit of light onto his eyes. They were half-lidded and unfocused, and if I were being honest, it was slightly unnerving. Of course he was just on the brink of passing out, but just the dullness of his irises was enough to threaten sending shivers down my spine.
